Hendery and the rest of WayV for Harper’s Bazaar China!
I love how they went with a late 19th century-inspired look (The dark overcoats! The ruffled white collars) with bits of the Renaissance (look at Hendery’s red coat, white ruffles, button-downs, and fruit headpiece). I know it’s easy to clown the looks, but I must say, the boys pulled it off pretty well.
The artistic nuances in this photo shoot are pretty cool and aesthetic. ❤️ A little out of the ordinary, but it has hints of ancient masterpieces and that’s what I love about it!
Kudos to the stylists and art directors for taking haute couture to the next level, I suppose. It’s high fashion, after all, and it was never meant to look like your run-of-the-mill hypebeast clothing. And bravo to the boys (and, I suppose, their visuals) for once again pulling everything off masterfully. 🥰
No matter what, Hendery will always be the babiest babie Boy EVER. 🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💫💫💫💞💞💞✨✨✨🌈🌈🌈

Hendery for Nylon China! Proud of mah boi. 💚
In the interview, we learned:
- Hendery was cast on the streets.
- He wanted to do other things, perhaps pursue other passions, but he developed an interest for music in the process.
- He started out as a blank page / fresh sheet—meaning he’s the only member without a professional background. (Though I know he went to drama school in Beijing.)
- He is very grateful for his members for teaching him and the like—“Without then, I never would have debuted.” Thus, he is constantly learning and improving upon himself.
- 2/3’s of Hendery’s phone are memes! As in emoticons of the members. 😂 He has Kun’s and Lucas’ face memes the most. 😄
