At Long last, the Unofficial Linked Universe Coloring book is Finally here. the Biggest thanks to @agsilver33 , @binouchetruc , @dalemon , @kratereyes , @that-g3-artist , @zarvasace , @oceankat8 @sraksha @vagueandominousvibes , NuclearPowerPlant/Apollo, Savior, Yesimstessa, @1caru , Partner, Supernova and El for being the one who carried this whole project. i hope everyone will have a good time coloring these.

Ok but I just love that there's no elaboration for the "They are other far more childish than me". All I can picture when thinking about this is Wind trying to make that part 3 when creating the powerpoint and then realizes that he has no evidence for that point (is it because he is in fact the more childish or is it coz the other are far more skilled at erasing proofs ? We will never know) and so just passed directly to the conclusion XD

LU headcanon:

Twilight has Time's wedding ring. The Hero's Shade gave it to him before passing on; Twilight wears it on a chain under his shirt. He never takes it off.

@telemna-hyelle What if the Chain ever figure out the Timeline and Legend and Twilight realize they have both Time ring ? What if they talk about it to Wind in case he would want to try to search for it. What if against all odd Wind actually found it once their adventure is finished/the Chain is in his Hyrule ?

I would say Wind personally. Not becaause he is illiterate but because his script and letters are differents from the other Link's so he would probably get confused 😔.

This is Wind erasure and for that I apologize. Wind is not gonna be pleased that everyone knew Twilight is Wolfie before him

To be fair it's not like all of them willingly kept it from him and he probably will take it better when he learns that 3 peoples just got like 1 hour/the time the battle lasted ago out of necessity and that 2 people found out on accident. Since it's canon in LU that Wolfie helped Wild all along his journey it's more prbable that Wild recognized Twilight. So honestly the only person he told about his wolf form would be Time. And even if he both told Wild and Time it wouldn't surprise anuone to be only this two, they're the closest after all.

Still that gotta stung for Wind and I'm kinda hoping for him and Twilight to have a heart to heart conversation once the fight is over 👀.

We know Four is going to tell Hyrule about Twilight, but who's going to tell Wind? I hope he blows up over it his face is so expressive

I’m curious about the headcanons for the Chains last names, like I know that at least one of them is canonically called ‘Link Link’ but I don’t remember which one, and I believe that Time took Malon’s name so he would be ‘Link LonLon’ but I have exactly no idea for any of the others so if anyone has any ideas then I would love you hear them. 

Ok so since it's Wild's name that is Link Link (according to a reblog), here my headcanons for their name :

Twilight isn't showed to have parents and I don't think he would have inherited a surname from a biological family member or anyone he's not related to since he's also show quite independent when he's still a teen or at best a very young adult. I also firmly believe Hyrule isn't a era where everything is documented like ours and so the surname here have equal chances to be a nickname that stuck or to be inherited from you parent.

But I digress what I mean is that Twilight had his own nickname that became his surname (and his not alone in this). So most notable thing from him at a young age would probably be his bound with Epona and so he was nickname "Little Horseman" which latter give him the complete name of Link Horseman (before that he introduced himself as Link of Ordon).

Aryll have a telescope and her watchtower where Wind must also hang out because that's where we see him sleeping at the start of the game. So maybe those are family heirloom ? Maybe his family are mostly watchmen (or watchwomen since it's seems that Aryll will be the one taking the role after her grandmother if it's true). And if you're wondering why would warchwomen would be needed in a peaceful I would say weather, mail and in the rare case that a boat come mostly. Anyway I headcanon that Wind full name to be Link Clearview.

Hyrule didn't tell anyone his surname when he came to Hyrule but it didn't really matter because everyone started called him "Link the Hero" which eventually evolved to Link Thero.

Time didn't have a surname either, mostly because Kokiri don't really have family. So the times were someone asked his surname he was just confused. Then people would ask "Well where do you come from then ?" and upon answering "Kokiri Forest" people call him "Link Kokiri" or "Link of Kokiri". It happened a few time and he don't know how to feel about that. His emotional dilemma was put to rest when he married Malon and took her name. Now he's Link Lonlon.

Sky don't have parent showed either but I can imagine too many nickname to be throw at him for 1 to stuck particulary. If he must tell a last name he'll probably go by "Link Goodrider" or "Link Bignapper" or something but it's not gonna be stablr, those are just one time, temporary surname until he gets attributed one or just decide on one. Or you know... Get married ;)

Legend would inherit his family name from his uncle so I don't really have a specific idea here. Hum "Link Nobleheart" maybe ?

For Four I'm not going to get very creative : "Link Smithson" is the familly name I see the most for him and I'm not gonna argue with that. I also headcanon that it's an inherited name which mean his Great-grandparents would have named their child "Smith Smithson" for laughs and I love it (I don't know if 'Smith' is the canon name for Four's grandpa but I decided it would be in my fanon)

Ironically Warriors has the same process for his surname that Hyrule has, he's also Link Thero for many people, regardless of if he had already a family name before that. That's the reason the Chain just don't use their family name to call each other. If they're gonna confuse 2 of them anyway what's the point ?

Also since Wild full name is Link Link a lot of them didn't want Wild to be the only one to be called "Link". Plus that would have been weird for everyone.

I guess where a lot of modern AU versions of Link and Zelda fall short for me is, like, okay, Link is a feral elf, but he also saves the world by solving logic puzzles. It’s totally valid for modern!Link to be some sort of forest-dwelling survivalist weirdo, but it’s equally valid for him to be That Guy who built a working 3D printer out of plywood and string and you’re pretty sure he coded his smartphone’s operating system himself. Modern!Link would absolutely have a YouTube channel where he test-fires potato guns that violate the Geneva Conventions, is what I mean to say.

(The equivalent modern!Zelda, meanwhile, would probably run a video blog where she posts largely uncommentated demonstrations of practical home synthesis of chemical compounds whose names you cannot pronounce but which can set concrete on fire. Sometimes she lets Link field-test her latest creations. She is on so many watchlists.)

The equivalent Ganondorf in this AU is likely a long suffering government employee who has had to deal with these two maniacs for years. He’s like 99% convinced that the nation only has a year or two before they both snap and move into open supervillainy.

He’s wanted to arrest the two for years, but they always manage to stay juuuust on the right side of the law.

Yep this sounds about right. And each version of link (depending on who is involved in the modern au) is a different flavor of slightly unhinged genius.

Wild is like Chocolate Guy: he makes mind bending, 100% edible culinary masterpieces, and all the comments on his channel are people screaming, expressing confused awe and rage, and/or incomprehensible flailing.

Four is that one guy who does TikTok blacksmith videos. But like of RIDICULOUSLY complex and sometimes delicate mechanisms, all made by hand. No one believes that such a small guy can make it all by themselves, and there is a conspiracy that he is actually a set of quintuplets.

Hyrule is a quirky “don’t try this at home” survivalist, who actually gives really good — if sometimes concerningly specific — lessons and advice. However, something catches fire in EVERY VIDEO fae makes. Hyrule is also on at least one watch list. And the first time Wild makes an appearance in one of faes episodes and is introduced as Hyrules “survivalist buddy”, it crashes YouTube for an hour.

All of the boys know each other here thanks to the "Link's fight". You remember the Josh's Fight ? When a dude just messaged every guy called Josh to fight in a park ? Well in that universe it was all people with the name "Link" and all the chain meets through here (none of them won but they sure were the ones that fought the more fiercely an dirtily lol).

For the others (whetever this happen in a modernized Hyrule or just our world is up to you), may I add :

Twilight : is still a farmhand but from one that like to work with the old method. So he has to watch cattle from time to time and so to pass the time he makes video of craft like : "how to mend" " how to do embroidery" "how to carve simple things" "what to do if you have to help a pregnant person to give birth" etcetera. He does it with a calm, gentle and pedagogic voice. Doesn't have many followers though his panel of skill is very impressive. However one day when he was making a video he had to restrain a panicked goat to got it to goat (pun intended) it to calm down. So what people saw was someone speaking gently suddenly say "for crap's sake" put his filming phone down, some noise, then him passing before the camera fighting a goat with bare hand and submitting it like it was nothing and coming back with his gentle tone saying "sorry for the interruption" like he just dropped something instead of fistfight a goat to submission in 4 seconds max. Needless to say he's a popular meme/vine.

Wind : an explorator :). Isn't much on social media. He likes to check out myths and legends to see if they're true. But he do it in a very serious and methodical way. He doesn't simply look if their true or not. He looks at their origins, how they were passed on, why they were passed on, the culture, the history and people behind them. When he's older he would like to own a small boat and travel the world with it to meet small communities with lot of new stories that no one seems to care about weirdly (of course he would have friends with him to help, like Tetra).

Time held his arm out in front of Wind’s chest, then shuffled the young hero behind himself. Wind protested weakly, but Time was not about to accept any protest. Next to him, he could see Warriors doing the same with Legend, shielding the Veteran behind his own body.

Low groans of pain made Time’s gaze snap forward again, focusing on the passed-out forms on the ground.

Four and Hyrule lay crumbled on the wet forest grass, a slow tricky of blood dripping from Four’s nose onto the ground. Wild was struggling to stay conscious, but the boot on his chest pressed him onto the ground forcefully. Time prayed to the Golden Goddesses his rips wouldn’t crack.

“You don’t have to do this. I promise, it will not fix anything, Sky.” Twilight pleaded, voice quiet and desperate. He stood rooted in place a few paces ahead of Time and the others, hand reaching out to the Chosen Hero.

Or what was left of him, anyway.
