Sooo I finished "A Link Between World" 2 days ago and Arc (@twink-between-worlds ) you were right it was so much fun ! I DEVOURED that game. It was to the point that when I exited the game for the first time I already freed 3 sages (at least, my memory is very not good so it might also had been 4 idk). And I had comment I made and wanted to share here through my playthrough with y'all but unfortunately I didn't manage to pause my game to write them lol, thank you hyperfocus. So now I'll regroup all those I can remember here !
- A NPC Guard was talking about how happy he was to have hamburger for dinner and I'm like "Hamburger exist in the Zelda universe ???!!!!"
- Talking about the guards Link doesn't seems to have a high opinion on them. Or at the very least he doesn't idealize them because when he see the normal soldier painting his thought is "they seems stronger that Hyrule Guards"
- From what I've seen having a low opinion on the other is something reciprocate between Link and the Guards.
- When I saw the first boss (I started by Hera Tower) I thought "uh I guess hamburger canonically exist in the Zelda Universe.". I mean look at the boy :
Clearly a Hamburger with eyes.
- I love the bosses in this game !! Which made it even more of a shame that they don't have nave name :( (at least none that are shown to us which, again, is a shame coz I love those passage of presentation when we discover the bosses)
- I think my favorite donjon of the game is the Bandit Hideout. Especially for the Boss (which again I think is my favorite) (Nintendo don't be a coward give a name, that one can talk and is the chief of a band of bandit you have no excuses)
- I also very much appreciate the attention the game as for detail such as why the thief couldn't defend herself (she was weaponless, armorless and, more importantly, starved) or why Grandma Magie continue to make potion when her grandkid got kidnapped (she's probably too old to search her herself, she can't collect ingredient herself after all and making potion help her evacuating the stress)
- I love Aëline (Irene in english) btw. But it was still easier for me to summon her service after she gone missing and I just had to call Vadrouille (who doesn't complain since he's a broom) to go where I want. Before that I had too much of the impression to be a bother to do that.
- Link grabbing the broom by its tail and then still doing that when Aëline isn't there anyone. It's just cute and sweet of him.
- I would die for Gully which is why it was a shame that he ended being the second last sage I saved :(
- And finally let's talk about Ravio (yeah I'm keeping the english name for him though Lavio is starting to grow on me)
- You see I already knew the story of the game before playing it so I knew the twist and his interactions are very fun to watch when you know who he is. He's a very interesting character and I love him (I wish I was more focused when he was talking I tend to be distracted when I have to read dialogue :'( )
- Also I noticed just how many assumption he make during the game notably on how Link must be a hero even when Link was just a forgeron with a crisis on his hand and who is being send here and there by people with great authorities
And that's all. Though to conclude I would like to reiterate that Ravio own my entire heart, I loved the game and I still can't warp my head around the fact that hamburger canonically exist in The Legend of Zelda Universe (at least they do in the dark timeline).
