Today is the Birthday of My Nan, who I often call Nana, who Sadly Died on the 18th January 2021. She would have been 86 today 👵🏻🎂😇💔🙍

All My Family, Me and My Husband Special Duckula really miss her and wish she was still with us today🙍🦆💔💗😭👵🏻.

One comforting thing in all of this is, that My Nana is spending her Birthday with Her Beloved Husband ( Our Grandad ) for the first time in years, since That Grandad died in 1997, now they are reunited in Heaven ✝️👵🏻💗👴🏻🥺

My Nan and ( Her Husband) Grandad are the Ones who bought Me and gave Me My Special Duckula, So Laura and I will be forever Grateful to Them for that and so much more 🙍🦆💗💔👵🏻👴🏻

The other comforting thing is that, since My Family, Special Duckula and I are Christians, We believe that My Nan and her Husband are also being looked after by God and Jesus in Heaven, God also gave Me my Special Duckula too, so Duckula and I are thankful to Him too ✝️🙍🦆🙏🏻💔👵🏻👴🏻😇

I have a fun fact about Cluj-Napoca, that I know by being a Count Duckula Fan?🦆🏙🇷🇴😄

In the Count Duckula series, sometimes, the characters do go to a cartoon version of city in Transylvania called Cluj, (which is a shortened version of Cluj-Napoca) but the Duckula series Mispronounces the name, calling it "Cludge"! 🦆🏙🇷🇴😄💜

The two Duckula series, Episodes, I know mentioned Cluj, are: The Show Must Go On, (it starts in a theatre in Cluj) and Hi Duck (uses Cluj Airport)🦆🏙🎭🛫🇷🇴😄

I was so excited to visit a location used in the Duckula cartoon, even if Cosgrove Hall Films/Productions didn't know how to pronounce it right,

I now know how to say It probably, lol🧛🏻‍♂️🦆💜🙋‍♀️🇷🇴🌲🏙😂

Sighisoara, Mine & Special Duckula's 2nd Favourite Place in  Romania, this time in the Bucharest region🏔🏫🇷🇴🙋‍♀️💜

Sighisoara is an Ancient Citadel: A Walled City, built high on a hill, designed to keep the People who live inside the City safe🏔🏡😄

While keeping Invaders out!🏔🧱😡

These photos are of Bran Castle, My Husband: Special Duckula and My Favourite place on the whole Transylvania Tour/Holiday,

It's the perfect Transylvanian Vampire's Castle! 🙋‍♀️🧛🏻‍♂️🏰💜.

Bran Castle, is famously also known as Dracula's Castle and My favorite place in Transylvainia, Romania 🏰👻💜 Although in Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, the Count's Castle was actually in Bistritz another part of Transylvainia, not bran castle. There wasn't a castle in Bistritz, though I believe someone has built a Dracula Hotel Castle there now, for the tourists😄🏰 Bran Castle is still the only Real castle that best fits the description of Dracula's Castle, it stands high on a Mountain, surrounded by Transylvainian Forest.

Bran Castle itself is a true medieval castle, with spiral staircases and spooky turrets, it's the perfect home for any Vampire😂👻🏰 🗻

I 💜 Bran castle because of it's Dracula's castle connection and it also reminds me of Castle Duckula, Count Duckula's castle in Transylvainia🙋‍♀️🧛🏻‍♂️🦆🏰😍🇷🇴.

I and Special Duckula loved visiting Bran Castle together 🦆🙋‍♀️🏰🧛🏻‍♂️🇷🇴😍

My Husband: Special Duckula was with Me at the time too, but he is inside the black bag, around My waist, for safety! Which is why he's now standing in front of the photo, in the album🦆📷.

Me, Special Duckula and My Aunty, went around Transylvania on a Guided Tour holiday, led by a Transylvanian, Romanian Tour Guide Lady Called: Beatrice, but she preferred to be called, Betty🙋🏻‍♀️🇷🇴😁.

There were more people on the tour with us, who were guests like me & my travel party,

We all drove around Transylvania & other parts of Romania, in a little Tour Bus/Van driven by a Romanian Man, Driver, (sadly I can't remember his name!😔), who mainly spoke Romanian😄🇷🇴🚐🏔.

As well as going to Transylvania because of My life long obsession with Count Duckula, I also wanted to go Transylvania for Dracula related reasons too, I first read Bram Stoker's Original Dracula novel, a few months before I went to Transylvania, in preparation for the trip, though I'd watched Dracula films long before that!🇷🇴🏔🦆🧛🏻‍♂️📖🙋‍♀️😄

I want to tell you about one of the best Birthday Presents My Parents ever gave Me! (Btw It's Not My Birthday now, I just want to share this!😁).

On My 18th Birthday (4th April) back in 2004! My Mum & Dad gave me a Very Special present,

They had phoned Cosgrove Hall Films, the Creators of Count Duckula, Danger Mouse and more, to ask if they gave tours of their studios? CHF, replied saying they didn't normally, but they would make an exception!😁

So My Birthday Present was, A Tour of Cosgrove Hall!💜💚

Me & My Husband: Special Duckula (This was back in the days, when I still took him places, Before he got too Special to go Outside anymore & I had to take a Duckula to his show's Birthplace) and my Dad went to CHF the next day. I live in Liverpool, UK and back then CHF's OG studios, was in Chorlton Cum Hardy, Manchester, UK, so it wasn't too far away!🚙😁

A lady member of their staff, gave us A Full Tour of Cosgrove Hall. It was amazing, to be in the building and with some of the People who made Count Duckula🦆& Danger Mouse🐁.

Though one sad thing was in 2004, they'd mainly stopped making Hand drawn Animation, like Duckula (which was made in the late 80's/My Childhood) now they were doing more stop motion Animation. I still enjoyed watching them make the stop motion animation though, as I'm interested in most froms of animation😁✏.

The highlight of my tour was: having my photo taken with the Count Duckula and Igor Statues

Special Duckula was in my handbag, for safety during the tour, but My Husband was still with me, when these photos were took, on the day of My Best Birthday Present Ever, On 5th April 2004, for My 18th Birthday🎂🙋‍♀️🧛🏻‍♂️🦆🥰

I Will Always Be Grateful to My Mum and Dad for this Great Present, also to God for letting one of my oldest dreams come true and to the Cosgrove Hall Staff too, for sparing their time to show a fan around🙋‍♀️🥰💖🦆

Sadly CHF are NO longer in Manchester, their og studio closed down, in 2009!😔💔

So I count myself and Special Duckula Lucky to have visited them, before they closed!🙋‍♀️🦆💖🥰.

However that's not the full end of CHF'S story! A few years later, the company started up again, this time Rebranded: Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick (Fitzpatrick being a relative of either Brian Cosgrove or Mark Hall, the Company's Founders, who joined the company later).

But I don't know where their new studio is located or if they're Rebranded Company is still going now, in 2020?🤔🤷‍♀️.

The other day, My Mum found these old photos and gave them to Me, as My Husband: Special Duckula is in them, with some other toys🦆😁📷.

Special Duckula is quite a lot younger in these photos, his paint is less chipped and he still has the Points of his Cape Collar, by his head! Sadly the cape points broke off years ago! (I still have one of them in a tin, but sadly the other one was lost completely😔).🦆🧛🏻‍♂️

Special Duckula/the Count Duckula toy, is My toy(and My Husband). I think the other toys in the photos, Belong to one of my Sisters,

They are two Pokemon (I don't know their names?🤔)🐭. A Disney Tinkerbell toy 🧚🏼‍♀️ and a Furby model🦉.

I've now put these photos in one of my old Photo Albums, which had empty spaces, it felt really nostalgic to me, to put physical photographs in a physical photo album, really old school Lol

Special Duckula and I have had this black Christmas Tree for years now, I like how it gives a Gothic touch to Our Christmas every year 🦇🎄💜🧛🏻‍♂️🧛🏻‍♀️🌟

We've also had the Disney Tsum Tsum Tree Ornaments for year's too, since the receipt in the box says 23/12/2015, We've been using them every Christmas since, including this year! 🎄🐭🦆🐿🎅🏻🎅🏿
