Also, had to pick animals native to the Bayou, so Sora is a river otter, Kairi is a rabbit, and Riku is a grey fox.

Goddddd another complicated as hell world cover finished. Still, I love the Beauty and the Beast chapters of Keys, they’re where shit really starts ramping up in terms of the drama and I live for it just like I live for all the Destiny Trio tension it’s packed with. Enjoy!
You know I had to do a cover for Keys' version of Prom! But seriously, I always look back on this chapter so fondly, its so soft and sweet. Plus, look at everyone's outfits!!!!! They all look so pretty and fancy!!! I'm literally obsessed with the Disney Princess asthetic, always have been, so this chapter was just sheer self-indulgence when it comes to that imo

Sooooooo I did a thing :3 Because ya’ll loooove my Lost Prince AU (aka my KH Anastasia AU) I’m kinda maybe doing a bigger project with it in the very near future. And this lovely little cover I spent the past week toiling over is part of it! Gotta say this thing was hella fucking ambitious but I think it turned out pretty lovely. And it has me hella excited for upcoming Bigger Project. Now for those of you who wanna know more about the Lost Prince AU, its basically just the animated movie/broadway musical Anastasia but with KH characters and lore. I came up with it on my discord and they egged me on until I developed it into a full fledged thing. If you wanna know even more about it, click here and here!

Virtually everyone despises Mickey in KH but let's think about what the writers could play with.
This little mouse abandoned his home and family to fight for worlds not his own, continuously "fails" to save his friends no matter how hard he tries to protect them, willingly allowed himself to be trapped in a terrifying hellscape with no sure way out (and himself remained behind longer when Riku escaped...I will forever believe this was intentional so he could keep looking for Aqua until Riku desperately needed him), and was ready to sacrifice his place in the story if it meant connecting his friends back together with what little light he had left.
I stand by the opinion that the animation does him no favors, but ALSO that they need to stop abandoning every characters' development for Sora's. Yes, he's the main character. But so many moments that should have belonged to other characters were trashed in place of Sora saving the day.
Despite the general hatred of him because of his apparent place as Disney's "mascot"...Mickey is a really interesting character with a lot of very human tendencies. Most just don't take the time to look any deeper than what the games show you...which isn't much.
I just hope if we do get an anime it does my mouse boi justice, and lets us see more than one side to these stories.
