Grunkle Stan in A Tale of Two Stans. They look the same age, but completely different? Nice continuity, Hirsch.

Here he is again as a teenager in A Tale of Two Stans?????? They look the same age but completely different again? I think Hirsch forgot that he already introduced a young Stan in Dreamscapers. Quite a big contuinity error actually and its really been bugging me.

They’re not the same age. Dreamscaperers!Kid!Stan is before he took boxing lessons.

He is not the same age in his teenage years either.

Bijou!Stan is slightly younger than AToTS!Teen!Stan. His face is rounder. He fits right in between Boat!Teen!Stan and AToTS!Teen!Stan.

Yea you’re right, but why would he go back to wearing glasses (in the picture with Hotpants) after he was bullied for wearing them? And then be shown not wearing glasses at all in A Tale of Two Stans? If he didn’t need them anymore, why would he wear them on a date with Carla?

It wasn’t a date. They obviously didn’t plan on coming together, and just met by chance. But his reason for wearing glasses could be as simple as seeing the movie screen from the back. The times when he does wear glasses (at school/at the movies) it’s because he needs to see far away. When he takes them off later on, his school performance suffers.
