Dark Blossom is an evil version of Blossom herself. This is most likely because of His Infernal Majesty HIMself! He uses his black magic on Blossom/Momoko to make him his current servant. Thus changing her personality and alignment. Filling her with hatred, anger, and bad memory.
Dark Blossom/Momoko would serve as the secondary antagonist.
Dark Blossom (1998):
Although nothing has changed her appearance (besides her shadowed body and reddish glow) her personality has entirely changed negatively. This version of Blossom (although still highly intelligent and egocentric) and is now vicious, mean-spirited, cruel, destructive, and overly antagonizing. She is also very unsympathetic towards the recurring good characters, the citizens of Townsville and especially her own family and friends as she views variously views them as “careless, lazy and idiotic beings”. Due to being controlled by HIM, Blossom is ONLY very loyal towards The King Of Darkness HIMself.
There is a way to snap Blossom out of HIM’s black magic. But due to her negative alignment and destructive “newfound” power(s), It’s very tough and risky, and to making things worse, the black magic from HIM can rise if the purification is faintly low. Only pure good recollection or “things go too far” moments will purify Blossom back to her normal self, but it would temporarily grant her a painful headache.
Dark Momoko Akatsutsumi:
Her appearance changed lightly. (In her clothing, the whites have turned into blacks.) Her personality changed negatively as well. This version of Momoko is now evil, mean-spirited, trouble making and unsympathetic. She is also very loyal towards Kare as well. BUT! Unlike Her ‘98 dark counterpart, Momoko is almost less-evil, but is a smugly bully most occasionally. Also, despite SOMETIMES flirtatious, instead of still being Boy-crazy, Dark Momoko acts like a shy tsundere towards boys. Her Yo-Yo is now deadly as it has blades around it, but her attacks are still the same… but faster.
There is an obvious way to snap Momoko out of Kare’s evil magic. It is good recollection (such as good bonding, love and friendship). The risk is less dangerous, and like the '98 Dark Blossom, Dark Momoko will shortly receive painful headaches if she remembers, thus purifying her back to normal.
This is one of the projects that got me exhausted. Blossom (1998) was nearly the shortest to draw. Momoko was the longest to draw and that was the most liability for my own arm.
…Honestly, I wish Craig would develop a second Powerpuff Girls Movie (before the 2010’s) where it features HIM as the main antagonist and the film would be a lot dark and emotional, in my opinion that is.
