Day 24: Challenge 🤔🦆 and Day 25: Vast 🏰🦆

Count Duckula 2015's 'Challenge' "To be The Most Famous Person In The World!" is only made more challenging, by having a hard to impress Audience like Danger Mouse! 🦆🎭🐁🤨

Duckula has built this 'Vast' stage, for his performance 🦆🎭🙂

I decided to draw This Duckvember Scene featuring Reboot Danger Mouse and Duckula. To look very Similar to My Day 4: 'Dreadful, Prompt' post, from this year's Duckvember, which features 1981 Danger Mouse & 1982 Count Duckula. (Pictured Below);

I like how the two drawings echo eachother.

This is a follow up post to, my last post about My Birthday Visit To CHF🙋‍♀️🦆💜.

Even though CHF'S original studios closed down in 2009. That's not the end of their story!

A few years later, they started up again Rebranded as Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick (Fitzpatrick is the name of a Relative of either Brian Cosgrove or Mark Hall, the Founders of the company, Fitzpatrick became a partner of CHF). Though sadly Mark Hall died at some point💔, Brian Cosgrove and Fitzpatrick kept CHF going😀. I regret that I do not know where the new CHF is located or if they're still going in 2020?🤷‍♀️

However there's Still A place in Manchester UK, where you can see Cosgrove Hall's work on display😃

It's called: Waterside Arts Centre, in Sale, Manchester, UK. It's the New Home for the Cosgrove Hall Films Achieves🦆🐁😁.

They have regular CHF Exhibitions, showcasing the Hand-drawn Animation Cels from Count Duckula, Danger Mouse the BFG and more 2D series/Films.🐁🦆

They also have many Stop Motion Animation props of series/Films such as: Noddy, Engie Bengy, Oakie Doke & more🌿😃.

The CHF Exhibitions are generally Free to the public😁.

However The Centre Is Temporarily Closed Due To Covid 19, but with Lockdown restrictions loosening in the UK the centre should Reopen soon❤.

Please Note: The CHF Exhibitions are not always displayed in the centre, as they sometimes host other art exhibits.

It is best to contact Waterside Staff themselves, when they Reopen, to learn the dates of the next CHF Event there. To ensure it's on, on the date of your visit.

I myself have visited these Exhibitions twice and really enjoyed them, so I highly recommend it🙋‍♀️🦆💜.

I want to tell you about one of the best Birthday Presents My Parents ever gave Me! (Btw It's Not My Birthday now, I just want to share this!😁).

On My 18th Birthday (4th April) back in 2004! My Mum & Dad gave me a Very Special present,

They had phoned Cosgrove Hall Films, the Creators of Count Duckula, Danger Mouse and more, to ask if they gave tours of their studios? CHF, replied saying they didn't normally, but they would make an exception!😁

So My Birthday Present was, A Tour of Cosgrove Hall!💜💚

Me & My Husband: Special Duckula (This was back in the days, when I still took him places, Before he got too Special to go Outside anymore & I had to take a Duckula to his show's Birthplace) and my Dad went to CHF the next day. I live in Liverpool, UK and back then CHF's OG studios, was in Chorlton Cum Hardy, Manchester, UK, so it wasn't too far away!🚙😁

A lady member of their staff, gave us A Full Tour of Cosgrove Hall. It was amazing, to be in the building and with some of the People who made Count Duckula🦆& Danger Mouse🐁.

Though one sad thing was in 2004, they'd mainly stopped making Hand drawn Animation, like Duckula (which was made in the late 80's/My Childhood) now they were doing more stop motion Animation. I still enjoyed watching them make the stop motion animation though, as I'm interested in most froms of animation😁✏.

The highlight of my tour was: having my photo taken with the Count Duckula and Igor Statues

Special Duckula was in my handbag, for safety during the tour, but My Husband was still with me, when these photos were took, on the day of My Best Birthday Present Ever, On 5th April 2004, for My 18th Birthday🎂🙋‍♀️🧛🏻‍♂️🦆🥰

I Will Always Be Grateful to My Mum and Dad for this Great Present, also to God for letting one of my oldest dreams come true and to the Cosgrove Hall Staff too, for sparing their time to show a fan around🙋‍♀️🥰💖🦆

Sadly CHF are NO longer in Manchester, their og studio closed down, in 2009!😔💔

So I count myself and Special Duckula Lucky to have visited them, before they closed!🙋‍♀️🦆💖🥰.

However that's not the full end of CHF'S story! A few years later, the company started up again, this time Rebranded: Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick (Fitzpatrick being a relative of either Brian Cosgrove or Mark Hall, the Company's Founders, who joined the company later).

But I don't know where their new studio is located or if they're Rebranded Company is still going now, in 2020?🤔🤷‍♀️.

The Evil Duckula is fighting his enemy Danger Mouse, because this incarnation of the Vampire Duck is Not Vegetarian, he's even had a taste of the Secret Agent Mouse's Blood!🧛🏻‍♂️🦆🐁😨

I had to look at a screenshot from the Original Danger Mouse series, for reference to help me draw Danger Mouse and Duckula 1982, as I don't draw them very often, but I do mean to draw them more😁🦆🐁
