Redraws of Canon Bliss into my Redesigned version Never Been Blissed has a lot of scenes that look PRECIOUS with my re-designed version of Bliss. The bottom thing is redrawn from some kind of line sticker they released.
Idk how you guys do it but almost every serious fan made redesign of Bliss really knocks it out of the park. Yours included. I don't understand how anyone at cartoon network couldn't have spent just a little time making Bliss into something special. All yall make me realize what could have been.
Ngl when Bliss was revealed I really hated her because she was just... a giant slap in the fact to classic PPG fans for the erasure Bunny.

No the reboot, despite claiming to be a continuation of the classic series, somehow enjoys retconning what made the original great.
Rant aside. I've said before that a lot of other fan interpretations of Bliss inspired me to make my own. (I swear you can see each one's influence if you look hard enough)
And somehow Bliss has gone from being a character I can't stand to my baby in a way. I want to see her prosper in a way cartoon network never gave her. It makes me appreciate everyone reinterpretations of her a lot more as well.

maybe this could be a christmas special where Him transports the ppg and jeremy in the story of the nutcracker and the only way to beat Him is to finish the story but ofc Him is gonna fuck around with it cuz he’s Him lmao also i love me some good old role reversal with Bliss and Jeremy :3
wanted to draw a cute moment of these two being buds are they studying? reading a fantasy adventure novel? who knows? as long as they’re having fun together :3
a small reference sheet of Bliss
i was rewatching Shadow Streak’s review on the Power of Four special and it got me thinking about how Bliss mentions that she has anxiety, which i think is a great idea for a flaw, not to mention she has a bit of a temper
since her powers are tied to her emotions, whether it be negative or positive, it would make sense that if she felt pressured in some way it would cause her to have a panic attack thus causing her powers to go out of control
this was even shown in the first half of the third part of the special before her character goes a complete 1/80 and she suddenly has full control with no effort (which i call bullshit)
one small detail of her backstory doesn’t really add up either in the show, its stated that Mojo knew Bliss before he became a mutated monkey yet it shows that he had green skin and if Bliss’s creation was similar to that of her sisters then shouldn’t the explosion that created Bliss have effected Mojo earlier?? and again he had green skin so did the explosion from Bliss’s creation half mutated him?? I find that confusing since Chemical W, the chemical that made Bliss is way more unstable than Chemical X so Mojo would’ve most likely have died during her creation (idk maybe he would’ve)
now on one hand it would make sense for him to despise her sisters after she left because they replaced her but on the other hand he was just thrown in to make her backstory more interesting, i find it rather pointless tbh so im gonna make adjustments to Bliss’s backstory later
