I WANT to trust Claudia Gray to do right by Mulder, Scully, and the fans because she was a fanfic author back in the day. But my heart is so anxious, so many of the modern XF short stories have been so BAD. I just want them to be together, safe, happy, and leading meaningful lives. If this is the last time we get a new canon adventure for Mulder and Scully, please don't let them suffer needlessly anymore. They deserve a happy ending.
