When Kremy had the Krew stop in his hometown, he and Gideon stopped to visit the graves of his meemaw, mom, and father. He lit their candles, gave them each a little offering, and mumbled some prayers and such.

Later that night, Gideon snuck out of the inn they were staying at to visit the graves again. He, among other things, said he wished he could ask for their blessings properly, but promised he would take care of his husband til he died, and probably after that too.

It's strange, but while he knelt there, Gideon felt like the shadows wrapped around him, like a faint, comforting hug.
