Putting my Rune Priests side by side cause that's how I envisioned them from the start.
We've got the youthful Blood Claw, the matured Grey Hunter, and the wizened Long Fang. This also neatly lines up with the Maiden, Mother, and Crone triple deity.
Did I subconsciously pick a red/blue scheme because I recently saw people talking about french uniforms? Who can say.
I mainly wanted to see how Fraktur font would look on a Sororita Sallet.
Finally pushed myself to finish the third and final Rune Priest.
Old, brash, radical bordering on heretical, but also incredibly knowledgeable in all forms of sorcery and magics. She has a particular disdain for Blood Claws.

Planning on doing some Space Marine art in the near*ish future. In instances where it thematically doesn't matter (stuff like character busts, colour schemes, guy shooting at thing etc.), would you prefer seeing First Born or Primaris?

In one of the Horus Heresy books there’s a short bit about the Legions fighting a separated human empire. One of the Astartes notes how similar their equipment was to his, like it shared the same archeotech roots.

My headcanon has them wearing some sort of protective bodyglove. They also use cheap throwaway pavise like shields to close to the enemy before they go nuts with their Eviscerators.
