Hello dears! I am asking you to support my campaign to help me reach my goal. I am in dire need of your support now to help me stay alive and safe. Gaza is a very dangerous place both in terms of living and lives. The family consists of 20 members, most of them are young children. I need your financial support to enable me to get the basic needs for my family until the Rafah crossing is reopened to transport my family to safety and peace. Please help a family stay alive through your small donations or through your shares to others. Thank you very much for standing by those in need. My campaign 90-ghoset has been documented

if anyone is trying to donate to help in Gaza through orgs, these ones were just banned by the Israeli government with no reason given and can no longer operate in Gaza (at least for now).

these are the orgs: Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association, Glia Project, Palestinian American Bridge, PalMed, Baitulmaal, FAJR, Palestinian American Medical Association, Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund

from what i’ve been told by people who have been working in/coordinating aid in Gaza, Palestinian Red Crescent Society, World Central Kitchen, and Anera are unaffected by this order, but everyone has been limited in what they can bring in. while the middle two aren’t medical orgs, they have been bringing in some medicine. PRCS is a red cross affiliate providing medical care.

(not trying to sway anyone’s donations but wanted to put this out there since PCRF has been the org i’ve recommended several people donate to previously.)

They also explicitly ban medical workers of Palestinian descent from entering Gaza btw

Hello.🚨🚨.. I am Hani from Palestine from Gaza and I am talking to you with a sad heart about what happened to me and my family, I was seriously injured in the war in my left foot since March 2024, and until today I have not received treatment. I am married and have 3 children Abdullah, Salma and Saleh, my wife Nour gave birth to a baby girl, but unfortunately as a result of the war, my child died due to lack of food and water, air pollution and lack of money. If you can't do this, share my story until I get to safety and achieve my goal.

Save my life 🩸🙏

I am Kawthar Zeyad Ramadan from Gaza, I am 29 years old.

I live every day war, destruction and fear, a feeling that can only be described by those who live it.

War is not easy, as I lost part of my family, my home and my work.

I graduated from university with a high grade and worked as a fashion designer and opened my own project because it was my hobby from the beginning.

I developed and succeeded in my field, but the war came and I lost everything in a moment.

My work was my source of livelihood for my family, so because of it there was no longer any source of income.

Also, my mother has been suffering from kidney failure for years and needs dialysis 3 times a week.

Because of the war, she suffered from going to the hospital in danger and long distances.

Also, the lack of adequate care caused her severe fatigue and hospitals became an unhealthy place because of the large numbers who needed treatment.

I had many ambitions and dreams that I wanted to achieve and succeed and become a famous fashion designer.

All we wanted was to survive the war. We were forced to be displaced more than 10 times at least.

We suffer a lot from the tent as we lived the summer with its extreme heat as it is made of poor quality nylon

And from insects and diseases

And now winter has come and we are drowning in the tents and the extreme cold

We fear death every day, we love life

Your help by donating even a small amount is able to save my life and my family's from death

Every €15 or €20 will contribute to saving

my family

The main reason for the spread of diseases in the Gaza Strip is the prevention of the entry of personal hygiene materials, which led to war merchants exploiting this and raising prices until a single bottle of shampoo reached $50, when it used to cost $3.

Y'all great news! Ahmed told me that his wife, Hadya Jadalhaq, is @aseelo680 cousin (from her father's side) and Aseel did in fact recognize them, as per our conversation below (English translation in ID) so please share and consider donating! Aseel herself has been vetted by 90-ghost here and share by Nabulsi here. <- this one has a book raffle if u're interested!

@cluelessbot has checked their RIS here, as well.

YOUNG ARTIST UNDER SIEGE, NEEDS URGENT MEDICAL CARE TO SAVE HIS LIFE

Tumblr prides itself on being an artist-supporting community. This little artist needs your support more than ever. It is a matter of life or death.

This sweet, bright, talented child is called Mohammed. He adores the sea and loves to draw.

Here is some of his wonderful work.

Mohammed can't draw anymore, because he was struck in the head with shrapnel, and still hasn't received the medical care he desperately needs.

Mohammed's father, Haitham @haithamnayef is fighting for him every second. But Haitham has an abundance of terrors to fight.

Just to give you a glimpse of Haitham's every day life:

Today Haitham and his little ones have just barely escaped their tent in the nick of time, as his children fainted at the sight of bodies burning alive in the most recent massacre.

Haitham is fighting for his son, who is deteriorating every minute that goes by without treatment, but WE must fight for Haitham and his family.

A MINIMUM OF $20,000 IS NEEDED TO EVACUATE MOHAMMED (MOST URGENT CASE) PLUS ONE CARETAKER, TO SAVE HIS LIFE.

The long term goal is $50,000 to evacuate all the children and their parents as well.

As of now, we have only raised $2,531 of the goal. At this rate, it will be too late for Mohammed.

I beg of you with everything I am and everything I have to save him. Haitham can't bear to lose him and neither can I.

Tagging for reach under the cut:

call your senators urging them to vote in support of this resolution! especially if they're democrats! urge them in your own words about how much this matters to you. if you want to go even further about it, threaten to withhold your vote in the election unless an arms embargo denouncing Israel is made!

Anonymous asked:

I have a question, and i mean this neutrally. When a gfm says it is “verified” and the verification is (as it often is) simply a blogger reblogging the post with no info, how are we meant to understand the gfm was verified? the handful of palestinian bloggers on here that verify gfm cant exactly spend so many hours for every campaign to make absolutely sure its legit. I mean they are human and most likely in troubled conditions themselves (or have family in difficulty). So we cant expect this vetting to be that thorough. How are we meant to know they didnt just rb the post without checking, or fall for the scam themself?

the palestinian and arabic speaking bloggers who have been verifying campaigns have been giving info on how they verify, mostly i think through messaging people in arabic and asking them stuff but i dont know for sure. i know that some arabic speaking bloggers on here have said that they dont want to post publicly in detail how they verify people because scammers will see and figure out how to look more legit. there also is a specific palestinian dialect of arabic that people who arent actually palestinian will most likely not speak.

please refer to things like the vetted fundraiser list or other fundraisers on @/el-shab-hussein @/nabulsi @/sar-soor blogs as i think those are some of the most authoritative bloggers on here for this. if something is verified by multiple people its likely its real.

i dont really know what else you want people to do. i understand your concern but your skepticism is just based on your belief that the people verifying this are too busy to really look into it. you also can look into peoples accounts yourself you know. reverse image search their photos, look up their name to see if they have other social media. a lot of people might have instagram or facebook but only recently made a tumblr. just use some critical thinking and information literacy for gods sake instead of immediately being suspicious of everyone to the point where you are accusing random people of being scammers just because they dont know how this site works. or on the opposite end, reblogging things like insulin paypal campaigns which are the most common scam on here. just think and use context clues pleaseeeeeeee. because accusing someone of being a scammer without evidence and spreading that information could actually have life or death outcome. i just dont answer asks that seem ambiguous and arent verified, i think thats better than potentially hurting a real person asking for donations by publicly calling them a scammer or reporting their blog

Avatar

@killy thanks for adding this. like the vetting process may not be perfect but i wish people would at least be aware of these things before accusing people of being scams. and as i said, if you really cant tell just dont donate

It’s definitely not foolproof, but here are some things I know that users who vet campaigns, and campaign facilitators, are going through:

-talking to the recipient in Palestinian Arabic (I no longer vet campaigns personally because I don’t read/write Arabic well, though I have people around me who do). Voice calls and texts can be done via WhatsApp or Signal, meaning that country codes are also visible to the people doing the vetting. For the campaign pinned to my blog, for example, there was a voice call conducted in Palestinian dialect because Nour didn’t speak a lot of English and I can’t read/write a lot of Palestinian Arabic

-ID document checking: Nabulsi and el-shab-Hussein have mentioned this directly. When I ran the fundraiser for Ahmed @/90-ghost, he has to send GFM’s compliance team pictures of his ID and that of his entire family accompanying him. They froze the funds until they had this and other information. It was a whole thing I posted about for a while.

-financial details: for Ahmed’s GFM, I had to explain to their compliance staff, in detail, how I planned to get the money from me to him. Anything that wasn’t clear in the campaign itself was clarified to GFM’s compliance team. To do the transfer, I had to get Ahmed’s Bank of Palestine account details, his address, etc. And GFM doesn’t allow you to transfer directly from the GFM to a Palestinian bank. That’s why Palestinians need to find facilitators in other countries; those who don’t have family or friends living in eligible countries have to trust strangers. For Leena’s GFM (Leena is someone whose GFM Ahmed and I have posted), she made it in a state of panic and decided to act first, think through the details later, and set her location in the EU. I had to find someone in the EU to help.

So, no, vetting by Palestinian bloggers isn’t foolproof, but for someone to fool someone like el-shab-hussein, nabulsi, sar-soor, or 90-ghost AND the GFM compliance team, they’d have to be able to speak convincing Palestinian Arabic, present Palestinian ID documents, and convince GFM’s team that there’s a viable plan in place, both for the financial transfer and the travel. It’s really not an easy scam to pull off. Not impossible, sure. But there’s a lot more going into this than certain people on here would think.

I also want to add a few things which is that @/sar-sour doesn't vet fundraisers, and I also don't work with Ahmed @/90-ghost for vetting. I just worked with @/nabulsi for vetting.

It was also always nerve-racking to see that as soon as one of us reblogs something that people take it to mean it is verified, we never stated that was the case. If it's on our list it means we've vetted it, if it was posted by us it was vetted. I had to stop reblogging things unless I was 100% certain me or nabulsi had verified it because then people would take it as an endorsement from me which was never the case.

Killy is right in the above, we used to not just ask for photos of their IDs but also photo proof of their current presence in Ghazzah, and we tried to keep tabs on them regularly, medical papers and stuff, even birth certificates if we weren't sure. It felt wrong and imposing to do all this and yet I felt we had no choice because there were many scammers and many actual people and no one was able to distinguish them at first glance.

We have stopped doing this verification over tumblr due to security concerns, as we don't think our communications are actually secure and people can intercept the information and share it with IOF. This is why my vetting is paused and has now been outsourced to a contact in Ghazzah who we have previously verified and who sends me even more proof than I could ever comfortably ask for, including so much as recordings of his conversations with the individuals I'm posting for.

So to the anon, I did take hours of my day - everyday - to verify each fundraiser I put up on my blog, and then so did nabulsi when she joined me. Believe me or don't, I actually did put in that extreme effort and it slowly sapped my lifeforce until my heart started clogging from stress-induced blood clots.

To be clear, I don't want anyone to be vetting fundraisers over tumblr, but especially not foreigners who are not Palestinian. Do not try to vet fundraisers on your own. I always worried about people harassing Palestinians for their IDs and banking info and specific location family and medical history etc... which is why I have never revealed my exact process but after this whole thing I don't think I have the choice. If one of us made a mistake with 1 of the fundraisers - whose listing we've changed to reflect our current knowledge - that does not mean we are just posting things willy nilly without checking. This is an unbelievable amount of work to do that has cost me irreparable damage to my health because I did so much of it for such a long-sustained period. I wouldn't wish this experience I've had on anyone. Numerous of my friends have tapped out of tumblr because they couldn't handle a fraction of the demand for help that I've been getting, because they wanted to help me and were overwhelmed so quickly. I feel bad because it feels like they got driven off of tumblr for me. I don't know. This whole thing is so disappointing and frustrating and none of the people accusing me have so much as rethought any of their accusations.

Hello,

I am Ahmed, 31 years old, with my wife Asmaa and our children: Mohammed (9 years old), Kareem (6 years old), Namer (4 years old), and Sahad (1.5 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, starting from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to endure in northern Gaza.

My son Mohammed suffers from motor and

hearing disabilities, among other health

issues. I used to have a workshop for windows, kitchens, and all aluminum work, but due to the war, my livelihood was completely destroyed, and I can no longer meet our basic needs.

This is our home that was destroyed in this terrible war.

My goal is to leave Gaza to save my family's lives. The cost of travel is $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, plus travel and accommodation expenses.

Together, we can support Ahmed and his family during this ordeal. Your donation, regardless of its size, can make a difference in the lives of these children who need a fresh start.

If you're looking to support Ahmed and his family, please consider providing assistance directly or through relevant charitable organizations.

I hope everyone is safe

When @noor-alanqar shared her fundraiser with me, I wanted to help her Gofundme spread by drawing her three beautiful children. She, her husband, and their three children Rajaa (5 years old), Youssef (10 months old), and Hussein (6 years old) all need to rebuild and stay safe.

Here is Nour's campaign, she is halfway to her goal, with €20,558 raised of €40,000!!

If you cannot donate, I would really appreciate it if you could share her campaign. Let’s help her reach her goal!!

As I have messaged her, she has also asked me to mention the people below:

Hello, how are you? What a suffering it is to have the least amount of our rights in life. I bought this eggplant today and its price is amazing. Can you imagine its price, 50 dollars? I cannot find enough words to express my struggle to provide a small amount of food for my children. Please, I appeal to your humanity to donate to me to escape the war of genocide to which we are subjected and to live a decent life for me and my children.https://www.gofundme.com/f/save-tahrir-children-from-gaza-war

Not yet verified but according to these tags there are no suspicious red flags from the images in this post.

Use discretion and donate if you feel comfortable. If you can't donate but still want to help this campaign reach more people, please Share.

A family trapped in Gaza appeals for help to survive

I am a mother of two children, the first is a boy named Nasser who is 2 years old, and the other is named Enaam, who was born during the war when she was less than two months old... I see my children growing up in front of me and I don't know how or when. This is not what I wished for. I dreamed of a wonderful life to spend with him... a life not filled with death, fear, destruction and deprivation... I wanted to fill their room with toys and his closet with clothes, and I wanted to buy them children's books, but I couldn't... The war came and the wishes disappeared... My goal became to provide food for him. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive and we no longer have the income to buy his needs. Bayd Al-Karam was deprived of many of his basic needs. He was deprived of safety and stability... no fruits or meat.

There is only fear that fills my son's eyes as soon as he hears the sounds around him. He does not realize what is happening outside, but he feels it and sees it in our eyes when he looks at us. I cannot protect myself, my children. Help me save my children. They deserve a better life, as do all the children of Gaza and the world. Alone, I can't do it, but with your help we can find a safe place and a better future for my children. Be the reason for changing a child's life for the better by visiting our link. And donate to us with anything, no matter how small... Every dollar makes a difference and gives my daughter a life.

£5 may seem small

The hardest decision for us was to leave our country, to leave Gaza, to overcome the obstacles we faced and the losses we suffered, and to start a new life from scratch.

I couldn't find any verification for this account because it is so new, but Israa's campaign is manged by Raluca Dumitrescu, who is also running Hanaa's. Hanaa's campaign has been vetted by 90-ghost here and is also #246 on the vetted fundraisers list.

And to help erase any fears of someone impersonating Raluca, I reached out to her through Hanaa's fundraiser to get confirmation form her about Israa and her family:

Israa has only raised £100/£20,000 as of August 9th.

An appeal,

I hope you donate to me, I need it. I am alone and no one helps me. Today my area was evacuated and I do not know where my husband went. He is not with me and my situation is difficult. My children and I are in the street now.

Hello friends, I am Doaa, mother of Omar, who suffers from autism. I hope you support, donate, and participate as much as possible to save my little one. He needs your support. He suffers from hyperactivity, needs behavior modification, and lacks visual and sensory focus. He is now sick and needs treatment, and I regret that I do not have the money for that. The war affected him. After a long time he started to improve. Please save Omar. He has now been in Egypt for three months, but unfortunately the centers for his condition are expensive and I do not have any income to support him. I hope to see him as a normal child like other children. I wish I could hear the word “mama” from him, as he does not speak and needs speech sessions. I trust you

doaa's gofundme has kr94,824/kr300,000 (SEK). let's try to get her past that first kr100,000 mark!

doaa and her son omar have been able to evacuate to egypt, alhamdulillah, but omar is a nonverbal, 5-year-old autistic child who needs lots of support. as i'm sure we all know, that support can be really expensive! all of that on top of the regular costs of living which a recent refugee would already struggle to handle 😢

Help me please 🇵🇸‼️‼️

Welcome I am Safaa Jad Al Haq from Gaza. I suffer from very difficult circumstances. The circumstances forced me to flee my home. I left my home as a new bride. My husband spent everything he had to build us a beautiful house suitable for our living, but the occupation did not have mercy on us and did not have mercy on our homes. All our dreams and memories were scattered like the air. My husband lost his job and his livelihood, and with your presence around us, you can give us hope and bring us back to life and our normality like in the past. I gave birth to my eldest son during the war, and I was not able to breastfeed him. I was not able to buy clothes for him, nor was I able to buy him anything he needed, such as Pampers and milk. I suffered a lot to give my son the right to drink milk or wear Pampers. We did not have any means of income. We did not have money. We were forced to turn to associations and institutions for rescue. The child was only throwing a little milk to us

I feel sad for my son. I want to live a dignified, comfortable, and secure life for him. I want to get him out of Gaza so he can be happy. I want to go out to meet you and I am in my best condition. I was studying law at the Palestinian University in order to be a lawyer with a strong personality and defend my rights strongly, but the brutal occupation scattered all my dreams and ambitions into the air. I want to continue my education abroad and continue my life. Please save me and my family. We are suffering greatly.

please share and donate, theyre very far from their goal

$8,248 raised of $75,000
