truly one of the most quintessential ‘oh…THAT’S sammy<3’ moments to me is in mint condition when they’re looking up online about a victim and when sam goes to read the mean comments where someone’s called him a ‘bitch’ and he just uncomfortably trails off and won’t even say the word! like ok totebag for the farmer’s market ok ally ok oh…i can’t say that! that is a very sweet man trying to be as kind and considerate as possible even when it’s like..sammy i won’t be upset if you read the word ‘bitch’ it’s ok i’ll still know you feel bad about tossing it around in your 20s during the bush era i swear it’s FINE

like...you know mr. ‘tries to convince women at strip clubs to go to nursing school’ carries around the guilt of using the word ‘skank’ a couple times in 2005 with more weight than some of his serial killings
