Lamia of Helmayne, my Yuan-ti pureblood Shadow Sorceror/Raven Queen Warlock for a high level evil campaign~

Lamia is the name she took on after she was “reborn” through her pact. She has a pretty tragic backstory, which shocked her hair white, but instead of rising from the ashes, she fully embraced darkness and is consumed by her need for bloody vengeance. Her two raven familiars (well, one is an imp in the form of a raven) are actually named after her dead children, whom she does not remember. Her arcane focus is a large, decorative needle that she wears as a hairstick, and uses as a wand. Sometimes she casts magic through decorative, snake-like daggers.

Like most yuan-ti purebloods, she looks mostly human. The “makeup” effects around her eyes are actually scaly patches of skin.

A tavern scene for my boyfriend, as a present. We started playing D&D together a couple of years ago which (among other things) eventually led to us dating! So far he’s racked up two paladins, a barbarian monk, a wizard, a ranger, and a gunslinger/artificer. Everyone in the background is one of my characters.

Here’s hoping that 2020 brings everyone the nat 20s that they deserve in life and D&D ;D

Sunset (Gotta Have It)

Reuploading an oldie but a goodie. This is from 2013, but still stands as one of my favourite things I’ve drawn.

Maybe one day I will tell her story....

Something quick for my first two PCs - their families!

Dana - born to a proud elven warrior mother and a mild unassuming human father. Her mother and their entire tribe of elves was slaughtered by an orc army when Dana was very young, and her father whisked her away to be raised in a human city. After he died of illness, she set off to rediscover her heritage.

Dagget - Kind of wanted to break the edgelord-tiefling-rogue-bent-on-revenge mold for Dagget. All I had planned for Dagget is that he was a Robin-Hood type street urchin, and that his mother was alive and well. His primary motivation for adventuring was that his mother owed a debt of gratitude to a crazy old human wizard, and she made Dagget promise to protect the old guy. By the end of the campaign, the DM revealed that the wizard’s insane prophecies were all true, and more importantly that Dagget is the only living child of a long dead king. Dagget started the adventure with nothing and wanting nothing, and ended up with a whole kingdom.

Storm Trial

In our semi-homebrew setting, my storm domain warpriest Thyra comes from an island of fighters who all follow Kord. At the age of 16, all are invited to take the Storm’s Trial. Initiates must sail to the mainland in the midst of a thunderstorm and return with a fresh wolf or bear skin. Those that manage to succeed are blessed by Kord. While they don’t distinguish themselves from fighters, they actually become paladins, clerics, or runepriests.

Rollin’ up a new character! This is Thyra, my warpriest of Kord who more or less thinks she’s a fighter. She got hit by lightning when she was younger, hence the scarring.

A bunch of Daggets in outfits from the campaign! Dagget is my tiefling rogue who apparently, I love very much. From top to bottom:

OG Dagget - street rat, momma’s boy, robin hood trope

Elven Maiden Dagget - a glamour went wrong and Dagget ended up in the body of an elven maiden, oops.

Rogue Dagget - at some point Dagget was forced to disarm himself and reveal just how many knives are on his body lololol

Rightful King Dagget - we got some swanky new digs from our elven allies and basically had to launch a coup!

Stealth Ops Dagget - aaand then we had to sneak into a lich’s lair to destroy the Magical Sword of Destiny(tm) that Dagget just got.
