A DTIYS that Sylessae is hosting on DA! First pic is mine, second is hers.
I'm having a lot of fun experimenting with rendering techniques and moving more of my workflow to Procreate! Now it's just final colour adjustments that I do in PS.
here's a process vid for anyone interested! it shows all the parts i did in procreate, but doesn't include all the minor adjustments I did in PS
normally I paint directly with colour picking (that's how i did the hair) but I was trying some new techniques with the skin part.
Lust~
I think up til I started reading Fullmetal Alchemist, a lot of villains in my mind had these elaborate, detailed designs. But Lust's design is so simple and effective!
FMA is probably my fav manga and was a huge influence on my art when I was younger. I just love everything about it <3
(also bear with me, i'm testing out stuff with art signatures!)
Z, Bron, and Nox~
Z - half-elf ranger/druid, plagued by an elven shadow curse Bron - half-orc barbarian/fighter Nox - Z’s faithful black panther companion

A portrait of a character that has been bouncing around my head for years! I’ve been wanting improve my use of colour + composition so here we are~
No one wanted to be here -- not with your empty spot. It was so quiet...
Finally wrapped up a painting I started months ago~
Storm Trial
In our semi-homebrew setting, my storm domain warpriest Thyra comes from an island of fighters who all follow Kord. At the age of 16, all are invited to take the Storm’s Trial. Initiates must sail to the mainland in the midst of a thunderstorm and return with a fresh wolf or bear skin. Those that manage to succeed are blessed by Kord. While they don’t distinguish themselves from fighters, they actually become paladins, clerics, or runepriests.
Wrapped up the second arc in our campaign and picked up a few new friends along the way!
Starring: Bert, goliath barbarian, wielder of a Magic Sword of Destiny (TM) Helotis, freshly resurrected ancient goddess, Chaff, young human wizard, possessed puppet Kaalis, tiefling paladin of Avandra Thyra, human warpriest of Kord Laethen, eladrin wizard Dalin, human ranger Josiah II, abdicated Lord of Direfell, kind of a butt tbh
A yuan-ti Warlock and half-elf monk/rogue for @beckswithspecks !
Lily Bride! There’s probably a better way to store arrows?
Chryssos, son of Nike, for @feminismandsharks !
Did you know I love drawing wings???

Dana the fae-pact warlock was my first DnD char! Unfortunately, the campaign ground to a halt before I could get her to her ~*~final form~*~.
Also wow painting iridescence is hard.
