May 3rd, 1996, MALICE MIZER performed their first show in the TOKYO 3DAYS IN CLUB HOUSE series at Meguro Rockmaykan. The shows were sold out.
May 3rd is the birthday of Haruna Masaki, better known to his fans as the singer Klaha. He gained attention with his first band Pride of Mind. Switching from New Wave to Gothic Rock, he joined MALICE MIZER as vocalist for their Gothic Rock Bara no Seidou. He made quite the impression with the band, even more so as the lead in their vampire film “Wedding Rose ~ The Promise Exchanged at Midnight”. After a foray as a solo artist, Klaha left public life. October 30th, 2001, MALICE MIZER released the single Mayonaka ni Kawashita Yakusoku (真夜中に交わした約束), Promise Made at Midnight. It included three instrumental tracks, one for the title song, Seinaru Toki Eien no Inori and Chikasuimyaku no Meiro.
