I decided Danny needed a fire core AU where the portal accident blew up the entire block, condemned all of Amity, and was left to haunt it for 100 years before Sam and Tuck find him 🥰 for enrichment

I am curious about this AU especially on 2 points:

On the other hand, I can totally see Tucker and Sam going ghost hunting together and finding Danny both being in the mode: Oh no, he/she is hot

There was a rumor going around with the people who go out at sea. One where a voice could be heard the farther you went out, there was no fixed placed it came from, no has anyone ever seen the owner of said voice, but everyone who has heard of it claimed it to be the most beautiful, enchanting voice they've ever heard and they felt as if within a trance.

Like a Siren's song.

No one really saw a problem with it, the voice was nice to hear out at sea and unlike the Siren's heard in stories the voice never tried to lead anyone astray or entrap them so far that they willingly fall into the ocean.

At least Diana and Batman went undercover for a high profile event. Diana was sure she didn't hear correctly when she heard there might be the chance of being far enough to hear the 'siren's voice', it couldn't be a siren, for they were turned into trees thousands of years ago.

The host of the party didn't lie, however. Far enough into the ocean and she heard the voice of what was unmistakably a siren. Did one of them somehow manage to escape the punishment of Aphrodite? Or did someone reverse their transformation into a tree.

She had to know, she may not be killing innocents know, but with the track record of the Siren's she knew, it would only be a matter of time before she killed someone.

After the mission was over she called for a meeting with the Justice League. Asking her to help locate the lone Siren out in the sea, Siren's were dangerous beings, captivating wayward sailors with their voices to bend their will and inevitably kill them.

With Batman's help she managed to pinpoint where exactly the Siren seemed to frequent the most, then sent out to find her. She wasn't exactly surprised that Batman followed her, she sort of expected it, even.

She knew Siren's were dangerous women, their voices their most powerful weapon to captivate the weak willed. She could see that this Siren at least had some good in her, based on how no sailors disappeared or threw themselves into the ocean, and hoped she would allow herself to be reformed.

So what was she supposed to do, when she flew to the lone rock sitting in the sea with Batman in his plane behind her, and the dangerous Siren she expected was not only a child, but male as well. A boy who couldn't even be past his teens, yet covered in scars from where she could see.

The most dastardly scar of all being what was undoubtedly one of dissection running down his torso.

Diana calls dibs on adopting him before Bruce can even open his mouth.

Danny had to do Amity Park after an identity revelation with his parents which went wrong.

Beaten and injured by his parents, he had managed to flee with the help of his friends in the neighboring town in the hope that they would calm down and come to their senses and not wanting to go too far away to continue protecting the city.

But him and his friends round trips after round trips from one city to another ended up discovering him.

His parents finally had to create an effective ghost painkiller/sleeping pill because he spent endless time between sleep and surgery with a light too blinding to see who cut him up.

But there must have been a problem during one of his transits between two "science" complex, because, he just remembers falling into the water. The current carrying him away. Finally, in the absence of witness, he took refuge in his heart which covered with ice to preserve

After he does not know how long he woke up at the bottom of the ocean and lethargic. He had lost his sense of time but he missed the call of the stars, the dancing of the universe too much, and even if only his ectoplasmic body was there, he went up to the surface, eating what little he caught to replenish himself a mass.

Once at the surfasse he tried to find land and Amity Park … but he only found a crater where Fenton work had been here, the little of the town that not destroy was abandoned. He had no idea what was going on but he was in too much pain to look any further. He couldn't stay there for fear that the place would still be under surveillance. In mourning for his old lair, he returned to where he had resurfaced, began to catch poisons again.

His living quarters moved slightly to places where he had an easier time living, then fell on an area with rocky outcrops, fog and very little boat traffic.

He took his courage in both hands and resumed his human form and …. and he saw his reflection.

He cried a lot at his mutilated body. Then tired lay down on the rock and looked at the sky, the clouds

he looked at the sky, the sunset

he looked at the sky, space

he did not feel her hair deviate slightly gravitate despite his human body, on the other hand he heard the murmur of the universe among the songs of the seas, without a conscious thought he began to hum then sang with all his heart, all his core!

So, for the first time the world heard her siren song

Wait a damn minute, did Fenton Works explode?

Cause that's the vibe I'm getting from this and did he spend years in cryosleep? Cause ain't know way would Amity be abandoned in just like a few months.

Wait does this mean Jazz and all his friends are dead-

I really wanted us to be just as timeless as Danny with my writing so I guess that's a success. As it is only some lines of text here, but weak and having to be discreet when it is to find and return to AmityPark then to return, even with the reading of the sky and the insting of return (which made it return to its corner of ocean but couldn't get him back to AmityPark because she wasn't home anymore) must have taken him months, but he wasn't mentally present enough to feel the time, he was more ghost/dead than human/alive to that time

Danny needed time to mourn, just, EVERYTHING, then the acceptance and the beginning of healing with his return to humanity, to reconnect with the passing of time and the beginning of the songs.

Getting closer to humans is also the unconscious sign that he is beginning to become close to having a new human contact. He is finally ready to reconnect with others. After having been so hurt, it takes courage and with his isolation he will have a lot of difficulty.

For me it's more to write a prologue of a story about the reconstruction after the mourning of his life before that to torture Danny even if… I'm not going easy with him I imagine ^^'

And for Fenton Work, Jazz will have no interest or desire to take over the place, the GiW would also have no reason to keep the place instead of just repatriating everything.

So I let you choose, explosion by not changing the filter? camouflage of the GiW? revenge for their prince? Fentons sabotage? Did the explosion cause human loss / victim?

Also in the version in my head, the fact that Danny is has the perfect balance and a key element has the stability of the portal. GiW destroyed his human body. The Fenton portal wouldn't be functional for a long time with danny on the operating table

And I imagine AmityPark was already irradiating through the open gate, so with its explosion….the area around the town was evacuated and is now just totally off limits

what if Jazz, Sam and Tucker are still alive? … say that either they acted strongly and we failed and had to do deal with the consequences. either they waited for an opportunity but had to go on with their lives…. But who knows what produced the accident that allowed Danny to fall into the water~ maybe it was who we tried for the whole thing everything and was no longer able or in a state or too watchful or otherwise to go back to Danny

and finally, I described the song in such a way that we can interpret it as Danny becoming a space sirent :3 I find his cool as a concept, but I didn't want to impose it for those who would like to continue

I hope I have given all the leads I am considering and why I have remained vague

after all if Danny is to let go of the past and accept living now, we too must accept that we will probably not be telling the whole truth about any of this. Even if I think that by reading me here you saw a bit of what I personally imagined

Everyone is fearful but respectful of that quiet badass chosen one with unheard of talent, eventually defeating the dark lord. The hero doesn’t want to be a loner, however. He just doesn’t know how to speak Japanese.

he’s deaf/mute/nonverbal and nobody bothered to learn sign language so he just doesn’t talk until one day someone rolls up signing at him and everyone thinks that it’s an intense coded conversation but then the other person gives the rest of the group A Look and is like.

“did all of y'all really not learn sign language?”

and they’re like HUH???

and the person is all “oh my GOD see this is why we need to be teaching sign language universally! I mean, come ON, did none of you even think to try it?”

and there’s some awkward “we thought he was just quiet idk” and the other person just groans and says “how on earth have y'all survived this long”

bonus twist they’re a villain that learned sign language bc they knew about the protag’s deafness/muteness/nonverbal whatever it is and then they spend a significant amount of time ranting at the team, arguing for why it should be taught to everybody before they get on with whatever it is that they showed up for.

Bonus if the whole time the hero was a peaceful, remdom who feels like he was kidnapped, the team seems to be blessed and included a bit only when he kills, the team has traumatized him in the leading to the worst place, battle after battle, his silence became worse, his whole psyche was locked up to preserve himself.

And now he's facing a guy in a crown in the most dangerous castle they've been to.

and

he talks to him, like directly, not to the team, him, and he signs!!!!

"Héro" signs back hesitantly, he only answers him in sign this time while everyone else. They stares between the two in confusion, some in betrayal, as he has his first conversations for month or year!

and

he cries recounting his misunderstandings; why is it the end of the world? why is there war everywhere? why is everything burning? etc.

The big bad is now protective of this poor guy. He too had a non-verbal period as children, but his minions and servant, all without exception, learned the sign for him, immediately.

It's going to rot so much it's "hero team"
