While Christmas is a time best shared amongst everyone no matter their religious affiliation, do remember that many people regard the season as "Yule" or other winter pagan festivals.

If you struggle with the idea try this excersize: take a group of people, any, and put yourself in the shoes of the disenfranchised minorities who still face execution in some areas.

Put yourselves in the shoes of people wandering away from their destroyed home to try and find a new settlement, all because you wanted to freely worship your gods.

When the Christian Church was a lot more physically forceful with their religion they often persecuted pagans in an effort to change the world in their image. Be mindful and respectful of the fact that this Christmas some may say back, "happy Yule!". Please don't freak out, just say your version of that and go.
