so many gut wrenching desert duo moments at the end of today's session.. grian carelessly almost dying to his snail again, and scar softly and desperately chanting, "careful, careful, careful! oh my god..." grian's "oh my goodness" followed by scar's worried, "what's wrong, grian??".... scar dying to his invisible snail and all grian can do is shout his name in anguish, and ends the session and freezes the entire world to save his life.

not to mention the fact that both of them are emulating 3rd life. scar is living atop a mountain that has already killed him once, plastering his allies and enemies onto a reputation board, singing "everything the light touches is mine." then there's grian, gleefully plotting his benign and helpless red teammate's every kill despite his dark green name, doing everything in his power to keep him alive. scar knows what it is to win now, and the two of them are back in this push and pull waltz, searching for hints of one another in everyone around them.

If you haven’t started already, start archiving/downloading everything. Save it to an external hard drive if you’re able. Collecting physical media is also a good idea, if you’re able.

Download your own/your favorite fanfics. Save as much as you can from online sources/digital libraries. Recipes, tutorials, history, LGBTQ media, etc. It has been claimed, though I can’t find the exact source if true, that some materials about the Revolutionary War were deleted from the Library of Congress.

It’s always better to be safe than sorry and save and preserve what you can. Remember that cloud storage also is not always reliable!

i think theres this idea in the general public that the "best" fanfic gets turned into real books like 50 shades of grey. but the truth is that the best fanfic can never be published as an actual book because its intricately woven into the canon material so its inseparable even if you change the names
