I dont understand people being upset that a secondary character who is the wife of the love interest of the main character turned out to be a cartoonishly evil character, when this is a show that in the first episode a cartoonishly good character flips on a dime and turns into a cartoonishly evil character and hires a group of cartoonish assassins to murder a family of cartoonishly evil characters.

Its not "bad writing", its a show telling the audience what theyre getting into in the first episode and people not paying attention because they spend too much time in fanon interpretations on canon. Weve seen Stella for all of 30 seconds in total in 2 episodes and both times she was being objectively horrible person and people are surprised when she gets more spot light shes cartoonishly evil???

Cartoonishly evil characters isnt a sign of bad writing if cartoonish is what the show is aiming for. Its actually a sign of consistency which is part of good writing actually. Helluva Boss isnt trying to be the next "breaking bad" or "lotr" in terms of characters arcs, complex world building, or deep storylines. Its a show striving to tell funny lil demons killing humans and yelling out dick jokes and fucking around while they do it. Its striving to be FUN, not deep philosophical commentaries on healthy relationships.

Now helluva boss does deepen some characters, the important ones being the MAIN CHARACTERS and their relationships. Blitz and stolas fit in that category, stella does not, neither does stolas dad, or verosica or any of the other cartoonishly bad characters.

So what you are telling me is that the headcanon that Stolas is the only one that always laughs at Blitzo jokes is now canon
