- Fighting for the fate of the world: has said she’ll make climate change a top national security priority; was one of the original Senate sponsors of the Green New Deal (others: Ocasio-Cortez, Markey), much of which became Biden’s stealthily VERY green Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and the Inflation Reduction Act
- Yes, she was a prosecuting attorney; no, it’s NOT an ACAB situation—highlights of her time as District Attorney of San Francisco and Attorney General of California include enabling a re-entry/anti-recidivism program for young drug users which is now used as a template around the country, pointedly not prosecuting people for marijuana possession (distinctly before it was legal), defending Californians against foreclosures, got the “gay/trans panic” defense BANNED in CA courts, and being the first statewide agency to require all police offers to wear body cams.
- As VP she’s spearheaded abortion rights, developed and nearly passed a landmark voting rights bill (stymied by Senate Republicans + 2 Democrats unwilling to change filibuster rules), and quietly built a solid foreign policy portfolio, including firm support of Palastine.

It’s all about overthrowing the two party system until people have to actually organize. Everyone complains about new bills and legislations that are harmful to the public but then don’t go vote in their state or local elections. They don’t hype up third party candidates years before the next election. They don’t share information, they don’t educate themselves on the current political happenings year round. They don’t sign petitions or go to protests.
No, they wait until the presidential election is very close, and then talk about how we need to abolish the two party system and vote for a third party candidate when they themselves usually don’t even know who the candidates even are. Or even worse, they say they’re going to opt out of the election entirely.
Change and revolution are slow moving. They don’t happen overnight. You aren’t going to get your way less than five months before the election. It will take years of consistent protests, petitions, sharing verified information, and informed voting. You don’t have some moral high ground by saying “Well, both candidates are bad, so I’m just not going to vote for either of them”, especially in this election. You’re giving up one of the only powers you have.
You are willfully giving up your right to shape the future and that makes you an idiot.

Things I’m okay with:
- People not liking Biden as the presidential candidate
- People not liking Kamala Harris as the Vice President candidate
- People wishing there were better candidates running
Things I’m not okay:
- People claiming that a candidate they don’t like is as bad as a racist, sexist, classist, self obsessed, facist sex offender with ties to fucking Nazis, who has engaged in blatant nepotism, who has sent armed forces to put down peaceful protests, and who has spread misinformation during a fucking worldwide pandemic
Look. I get it. You don’t have to like Biden and Harris. They’re both flawed individuals. But the choice between Biden and Trump isn’t a matter of just politics anymore. It’s a matter of taking our country back from the hyper-conservative sociopaths that currently have a death grip on our nation. Trump and his entire administration have spent 4 years lying to and manipulating the citizens they were charged with defending and leading. Because all Trump has and will ever care about is himself and his wealth.
Don’t let that orange bastard win. Vote Biden this November
