Why are you so good at drawing lobsters ?I’ve seen your lobster fanart and it’s like freakishly good. Obviously your name is lobster-lover so I can get a hint from that but did anything specifically inspire you to be able to draw lobsters so well or are you just “hey lobsters are cool I’m gonna draw them”
thank you!!!!!! well sorry to tell you that the answer really is just that i think lobsters are cool.. i really love them and i have for a while which translated into me drawing them a lot.. eventually i wanted to know how they worked internally just to draw them better, kind of like how you do with a gun when you like drawing guns, and i guess im in the latter stages of it where now i know how most lobster traps work and how lobstering laws work and such. i just think they are cool 🦞

hello thank you!!! of course!! its honestly a bunch of playing around with krita's filter > map > palettize (with dither enabled!!!) . i just did that a couple times and made sooo many gradient filter layers on top of it until it looked cool. fair warning about that feature though make sure you save the file before using it because sometimes it crashes krita for some reason
