I haven't modelled or textured really anything since graduating uni (who would have guessed a degree in game design would suck the fun out of said game design? lol) however I finally found some time to sit down and make a few things!
Both objects are usable in the mod. The walkie will be for short distance communication with other sims who also have walkies, and the rad detector... well, you can figure that one out ;)
My partner has already pointed out to me that I used the biohazard sign on the rad detector but... it looks cooler lol.
Both will be included in Survive's next update :)

Far Cry 5 as Text Posts - Jacob Seed
A historical mod which adds two variants of a 'Book of Hours'. A Book of Hours is basically a Christian prayer book designed to guide the spiritual life of a secular person. These prayers were read at specific times of the day. They were most popular in the Middle Ages. I have included two variants, one for a richer sim and one for a poorer. Expensive Book of Hours were often richly detailed with colourful images and decorations, whereas more affordable options were quite basic. You may be most familiar with Anne Boleyn's book of hours, which you can read more about here: https://www.hevercastle.co.uk/news/castle-object-of-the-month-books-of-hours/.
When clicking on a Book of Hours that has been removed from the bookcase (the general bookcase 'Read' name will override my custom names when choosing from a bookcase), the interaction available will be based on the time of day. For example, if your sim was to read first thing in the morning between the hours of 6am and 9am, they would get the interaction 'Prepare for the Day with Prime'. Whereas if they were to read late at night between the hours of 9pm and 12am, they get the interaction 'Wind Down with Compline'.
You can also set a reminder notification for your sims to read during specific prayer hours by shift-clicking on your sim and navigating to 'Toggle Prayer Reminders'. You can mix and match them, have them all turned on or keep them all off.
Please note that Lot51's CoreLibrary is required (linked in post).

I've just moved to Darwin and don't have anyone else but him up here, so I don't really have the support of friendship to fall back on.

Hi. Can you make a mod that works with your royalty mod that makes decisions the royalty of that country have actual consequences? Like, if they make a bad choice everyone in the country loses money or has a negative buff or gets sick or something? I feel like it doesn't matter right now if my kings and queens are good or bad leaders. It doesn't effect anything. I'd like for there to be consequences. :)

More consequential actions is something I've been wanting to add for a long time, just been difficult because underneath everything, TS4 is actually quite a shallow game with very little long term/world effecting consequences :(
It's definitely something I want to incorporate at some point in the future though, if I can.

Here's a sneak peak of what I'm currently working on, a mod to expand on elders! So far I have worked on 'ailing health' which includes eyesight, hearing & dentures. Your sims have a 50% chance of developing these conditions when they age up to elders, and they are progressive until your sims require glasses, dentures & hearing aids.
Next I am working on a daily caretaker your elders can hire to help them around the house, activities such as bingo & a weekly simoleon payment like an age pension. Any more ideas are appreciated!
Dentures can be removed and put back in, your sim will have no teeth whilst removed!
