I know this idea isn’t new, but it’s one that I get obsessed with every now and again: Finnastasia and Dimitrey. I love the idea of Finn being missing royalty and Rey being an orphan pressed into a life that’s not quite law-abiding, but who has a heart a gold and a memory of saving a young prince when his family’s palace was attacked …

This is such a good design for Rey. If they ever did a tie-in novel of her time from TLJ to IX then they should just do this.
i had a dream the other day where cassian was a force ghost and he was hanging around finn and helping him out
Can you imagine, episode 8 or 9, a bunch of Stormtroopers find wherever Finn is, and in a moment right before you think all hell breaks loose, they all take off their helmets and pledge their allegiance to serving Finn who gave them the courage to leave the First Order, recognize their lies, and fight for what they believe in.
imagine if episode ix ended with a finnrey kiss. how amazing would that be?

concept: rose was one of luke’s students who escaped the massacre. she takes up her old hobby of maintenance work as a job, spends her years helping the resistance in the background. she reclaims her mantle as a skilled force wielder when leia asks her to train finn when he wakes in tlj.
“she’s still trying to figure out her place. she’s not a soldier. she’s not a pilot. she’s trying to figure out what can she impart that’s important to the good fight” - (x)
Now let’s imagine Rey finds and gets to know her family in TLJ *cough*, and Finn sees how happy she is and he is SO very happy for her, but at the same time his heart aches. Because she, the lonely girl from Jakku, found her family… but he, the former Stormtrooper, has no idea where he came from. He loves everyone at the Resistance base. He loves Rey, Poe, Rose, Luke and Leia… his new family, but he still feels this longing to know who he is and find out what happened to his parents , but fears he never will. And then, in episode IX… they find a lead to his past… Towards the end of the movie he finally arrives in this village. It looks beautiful, idyllic almost but there’s a dark shadow over it, in the souls of the people. Because of this horrifying night two decades ago when the First Order came and took all of their youngest children. But on this day… one of them… Finn…returns, as a hero of the Resistance.
