Episode IX predictions
- There will be no Sith in it and it will be made clear that neither Snoke, Kylo nor the Knights of Ren was/is Sith but something else.
- The Jedi will not be brought back, at least not in the form we got to know them.
- We will be introduced to at least one new Light side tradition. It is possible that it will be presented as being the tradition Snoke originally belonged to before he corrupted its teachings. Learning this tradition will be an integral part to the plot and in bringing down Kylo.
- Finn will be revealed to be Force sensitive early in the story and also be the one who learns the new tradition.
- Rey will spend the movie trying to teach people about the Force and the Jedi ways from the books she “borrowed” off Luke which will present the Jedi as different from what we know from the PT.
- Rey won’t be revealed to be a Skywalker.
- Unfortunately neither will Finn.
- Both will learn something about their families though.
- Kylo will be using the First Order and the Knights of Ren to hunt down people who have the Force or to convert them to his own fucked up ideology.
- Leia will also be integral to the “alternative” Force plot and I believe so will Maz.
- Lando will be the one running the Resistance alongside Poe, Rose will play a secondary but important part in the war effort.
- Kylo’s defeat will be related to his character’s weaknesses. That is his sense of entitlement and his desire to destroy the past/everything and everyone who doesn’t see the world as he does will be what gets him killed in the end.
- Yes I do believe that Kylo will die, because Star Wars doesn’t really do prison sentences for their villains. They tend to face capital punishment for their.
- We won’t get a fairy tale ending. It will be clear that the First Order still exists in some form and is a threat, but no longer an all conquering menace that it is in the ST. It’ll likely be fragmented and disorganized but with many dangerous elements.
- A dark side group or groups exists too, which will probably include the Knights of Ren who’s now being lead by someone else.
- We will also see a new form of Jedi order being created or being led towards its creation along with at least one other light side group as a counter to the dark side ones.
- The Republic won’t be reformed or if it is it’ll be significantly smaller and a lot of planets, systems and sectors will form their own form of government.
