One thing I've noticed about how youtubers react to seeing Stolas for the first time vs half way through the series. (And I've watched a lot of Youtubers react to Helluva Boss.)

Everyone seems to find him creepy at first then he becomes their favourite character.

Just an interesting observation.

Still obsessing over Blitz's little outfit from full moon. They did NOT have to make him that motherfucking cute but they did, bless.

But in all seriousness, I think this episode was a game changer for how people viewed Blitz (we’re not talking about the anti discourse, I’m strictly talking about people engaging in good faith).

From what I have seen from fan theories, fanfictions, and comic dubs, many people, myself included, had expected Blitz’s immediate response to being handed this crystal to be anger. Anger at the idea of Stolas severing their ties, at him making decisions for him, at being thrown away, at feeling like he truly didn’t mean anything to Stolas.

I don’t think any of us expected this. The desperation, the puppy eyes, the nervous tail swishing, almost crying in front of Stolas, Blitz begging Stolas not once but twice to not get rid of him, to explain wtf is happening, and that he can always do better like…

Insane discourse aside, I noticed a shift in more people understanding Blitz’s pov in this whole mess because we now have the confirmation that he is just as afraid and desperate as Stolas, and more importantly how much capacity Stolas has to hurt Blitz emotionally, even though he wasn’t trying too.

Yes, 100% agree!!!! I, as well as almost everyone I saw talking about The Full Moon before it aired, were fully expecting Blitz to be the one to storm away in anger. I think this idea was probably reinforced by Just Look My Way, where Stolas begs Blitz to look his way, to stay. We didn't realise that we were only seeing the Blitz that Stolas sees—the Blitz who leaves, who pushes away, who avoids.

But that's not all that Blitz is. It's just what Stolas knows. And in FM, we got to see the Blitz that is desperate and insecure enough to fawn. The Blitz who not only doesn't leave, but yearns and begs to be allowed to stay until the very last second.

Even if the trailer hinted at Stolas vanishing him away and a lot of people noticed and pointed it out, we were under the impression that that was probably a different scene, or there was something dangerous going on and Stolas was portaling Blitz to safety. Because "there's no way Stolas would be the one to push Blitz away, there's no way Blitz would be the one desperately trying to stay and work things out."

The Full Moon set a new standard for just how well rounded, complex, contradictory, and incredibly human these characters are.

This is something Blitz only does for his favourite people. Like Loona and Moxxie.

Stolas draws Blitz as his charming, romantic, and handsome hero.

With lots of love hearts around him.

Normally with his favourite horse.

Or being softly kissed.

It's sweet this is how they think of eachother like this.

As neither of them would think of themselves like that.

Stolas would never think of himself as happy, cute or silly. But he gets to be that with Blitz.

And Blitz wouldn't see himself the charming romantic hero; that saved Stolas from a loveless and abuse marriage. But again that's also true.

It's what they are to eachother.

I love how Phil is passenger princess in everything except dnp's finances which he completely controls. Capital £ester knows one thing and one thing only: the bank.
