After cheekily emailing the week before Comic Con and a few back and forward messages, we had the great privilege and opportunity while in Los Angeles recently to meet up with makeup artist and hairstylist, Aaron Barry. Effortlessly cool, soft spoken, with a lilting Irish accent, Aaron was kind enough to invite us into his home to answer a few questions about working with Jen, his career and what’s coming next for him.
Phenomenally hard working and having simultaneously trained in fashion design and hairstyling (from the age of 16 to 21, graduating as a hairdresser the year before he finished studying fashion), and with an ever growing list of clients including major companies like Old Navy, indie duo Desert Sparrow, actresses Helena Yorke [Graves, airing on Epix], Torrey Devitto [Chicago Med, airing on NBC] the lovely Rose McIver and our Queen, Jen, one thing is for certain; Aaron Barry is a force to be reckoned with, and a total sweetheart (…okay so two things).
