Yeah... I dunno.
It wasn't MEH meh.
I feel like I ordered a coffee and got coffee.
But I feel like I wanted a hot coffee and got one that was lukewarm.
The writers could be writing the absolute shiitake mushrooms out of Chenford, and some of the scenes make nice gif sets, but I feel that it's just lacking SOMETHING, for me.
The writers have been pining to write Chenford for 5 seasons, and this is the best they can come up with? There are people who bingewatch The Rookie in like a week and write better fanfiction than this.

And, like Lucy, I didn't stutter.
I just want to say I'm really impressed with me and John in this episode and our giddiness over our daughter. We did not have children yet, either of us. And I thought we really seemed like parents. I feel like we're told stories how parents do. Parents really are, like, so tickled by the little things that their kids do. And we had no experience with that yet. But I like I think we did so good. I had to remind myself that when we shot this, we were still childless in our real lives. -Jenna

Jenna You know, I loved doing these comedy scenes with John. We really had good comedic chemistry together. We we had that Jam brain, you know, we shared that brain. And so we really were like those people who can finish some one's sentence. I always like knew where he was going. I could see it. It was so fun.
Angela I can't wait for you to see this scene because when he turns to you and says, Sleeves, sleeves, it's just so ridiculous.
