How’s Camp NaNoWriMo going?
You know, for those of you doing it? Still wishing I could have made time for it and working on an outline for a possible Camp NaNoWriMo July project.

I might disappear for a little while... just warning you all...
It turns out, I am not writing the novel I intended to for NaNoWriMo. This happens sometimes. I come up with an idea, I outline, I plan... I buckle at the last minute and realize that I don’t have the headspace to write what I need to right now.
As much as I would like to start drafting the final Neverland Wars book, I’m just going to have to take a step back and acknowledge that forcing myself through a story I’m not feeling (especially when I should have ample time, space, and emotion in January) will just result in bad prose, an editing nightmare, and probably a longer process.
I’m working on the novel I need to work on right now, and starting to feel a little bit better about everything else in the world, too.
