it is so funny that no one in the cast has played a ranger or a hardcore ranged fighter build since Vox Machina so whenever Vex and Percy announce how absolutely bonkers their range is everyone is like "what"

BIG DICK IS BACK IN TOWN

I finished my snowball fight picture. According to my daughter, this is "mamma and daddy and babies and ...mouse?" but this is actually laudna and imogen and animated snowballs and Pâté de Rolo.

The little snowball that splatted itself over Imogen's boot makes me so happy

she said the thing! (conveniently ignoring it wasn't in character~)

i sketched out my musings and given the circumstances of the last ep well i think we should think about it. vex's first on stream close brush with death was a finger of death by delilah 'necromany gang rise' briarwood to the back that nearly killed her!

she was on 2 out of 3 failed death saves man! and then sunken tomb and i think that much necrotic energy in vex, who is vex i mean little miss dies a lot, i feel it should mean something. her back becomes just untenable for a week or so and then itll heal but that wound is always under the surface and hurts her bad when its agitated

marisha always falls into this State when vax returns to them – as a revenant, in dalen's closet, in c3e114 – and it hurts so bad. while vex is warm, smiling, hugging him, immediately ready to jump back into spending time with her brother, even if she knows it might not last – keyleth is Terrified (or, as she gets older, Resigned). distant and cautious and hesitant, she needs coaxing and reassurances from people who are real, realer than the man standing in front of her looking at her like that. and she is always watching and waiting for the other shoe to drop. thinking of keyleth paralyzed by a fear of loss for the whole first half of c1 before taking the risk with vax, and vax at the end of everything saying "i know i've confirmed your worst fears." thinking of how every time he is delivered to her it's the same fucking dance. we can be together, until. we can hold hands, until. we can be happy, until. thinking of how many times she can bring herself to do it before she can't anymore
