I love this scene so much, shinichi is so amazed by it his eyes are practically sparkling. Bc he wants to do that to!!! But instead he's stuck using the voice changer bow instead.

I think shinichi as Conan, he looks up to KID in a lot of things. He probably thinks that KID finds it simple handling so many identities and acting them out to the perfect while he struggles in balancing put his persona as Conan and Shinichi as different people.

He's just amazed by how easily KID does it, he finds it mesmerising in a way that he could fool anyone , including shinichi himself, and shinichi knows he's not easily tricked, he's a bit too much on absolute alert to be fooled like that but kaito just manages to do it.

I shouldve knows the moment she said "lupin" to counter "holmes" that it was kid. Idk why that didn't click to my brain the very first time I read this but it all comes together now 😭😭😣

There he is again with his spidey-sense dedicated to his bf. What do I call it? The kid-sense? Idk but if a man just knows when his bf around, that's true love right there.

I headcanon this and I made it so obvious that I'm obsessed with this idea but it's KID's scent. He smells like silicone when disguised with a mask and stuff but he also smells like vanilla (or even chocolate, if you will) , maybe that's what alerts shinichi that KID is near by or close, it makes sense right? I'm not being stupid right?

KID's face is so shocked here, his ass didn't expect anyone to figure things out anytime soon. But yk what they say, you can't outsmart ur detective bf . (No one says that)

I just really love how their expressions counter eachother. Shinichi has a very confident look on his face, and KID is just pure shock written everywhere.

Thinking about the Little Brother marine who was stuck in the ice yelling for his brother..

And at first it seems like he’s yelling for help and the Big Brother marine immediately reacts, despite initially starting his story with not liking his brother, bc hey shit his little brother needs help.

Big Brother tries a good 2 or 3 times and was impeded by the other fights, the destruction of the very land he was standing on, and his hurt leg, but by god he tried.

Until he was faced with beams of light threatening to rip him to shreds. So yeah he turns and attempts to run.

Then he hears “IM YOUR LITTLE BROTHER” from Luffy and we suddenly cut to Little Brother who has finally seen Big Brother.

All he sees is his clumsy bumbling Big Brother frozen in the battlefield. And he yells for him to run. Run away from him. From harm.

He was never calling for help. Little Brother was trying desperately to search for his precious Big Brother in the wreckage, despite being trapped himself.

And here we see how starkly both Little and Big Brother are equal parts Luffy and Ace.

Little Brother is the one trapped (like Ace), but he’s nonetheless desperately searching for Big Brother so he can save him (like Luffy). But when it comes down to it, he yells at Big Brother to run so he can save himself, like Ace.

Meanwhile Big Brother’s natural instinct is to save Little Brother (like Ace) regardless of pain or obstacle (like Luffy). It took one brief reminder of who he is and what the circumstances were to get to this point, but he mustered that courage and ran to save his little brother.

And despite being set up for this backstory with “I hate my little brother” and Little Brother teasing Big Brother repeatedly about being clumsy or not climbing the ranks quick enough, we see how clearly they love each other.

Little Brother wanting to make sure Big Brother could fight comfortably. Big Brother letting him get away with all his teasing.

And at the end when Mini Nami comments on this dynamic and how Little Brother acts the jerk but Big Brother loves him enough to ignore it.

But you know that it took watching someone else fight desperately to save their brother and ultimately lose them, for Big Brother to appreciate being able to keep his own.
