There is a quest on the Summerset Isles where a woman asks us to find her brother who joined a house of performers. We speak with the leader who permits us to look for the brother under the condition that we can guess and tell her which of the performers is the brother based on the clues his sister gave us. (They all wear masks).

Yeah, turns out none of the performers are the brother, because he transitioned and became the leader of the group.

She ran away before she could join a magic school/circle because she was deeply unhappy and scared to out herself.

There were diary entries about how she came home drunk and in tears with make up smeared all over her. Her sister (who sent us to look for her) thought she had an affair with one of the performers or something.

You can make the sisters reconnect. They sit down at the beach and talk to one another.

While this does not translate to the usage of they/them pronouns the elder scrolls have always been queer, anyone who claims otherwise is either lying to themselves, you, or hasn't played the games.

Also Azandar has a friend named Martina that is referred to with both they/them and she/her pronouns! Vivec, a fuckin GOD, is gender-fluid, presenting sometimes as masculine, sometimes feminine, and sometimes BOTH at the same time.

This post just highlights a few of the examples of transgender/gender non-conforming characters in ESO lore. That’s not including other TES games AND the countless other examples of non-heterosexual characters/relationships in the franchise.

TES has been for queer people by queer people for EVER. This whole wave of people suddenly bitching about queerness in media (ex: Dragon Age, Marvel, Disney) makes no sense considering how they didn’t bat an eye until a couple years ago……..

(Ie, Isobel giving you fallen knights backpacks, or ember’s chance to give you a hidden wallet while pickpocketing)

New companions - well at least I'm 50% (okay maybe 75%) happy. We have an Altmer Yay! But instead of a Bosmer we get a fucking SECOND Khajiit. I didn't want another bloody cat I wanted a cute little Bosmer 😭

Seriously though we don't have a Bosmer, an Orc, or a boring Nord. Or a real Imperial (Bastian is Imperial in name only, they should have left him as a sodding Breton as he originally was). I wouldn't have said no to a Maormer either.

The new Khajiit sounds way cooler than Ember (she's at the bottom of my list only just above Bastian) and his story sounds interesting from the little they've said.

i love bastian, but homie gave me unrealistic expectations while i was making my imperial: theres no red hair option. come to find out (through this post, not zos, not uesp, this post right here.) that he was originally breton?!

Not much I changed with her besides she was the one to organize the betrayal of Nerevar and convinced the others to follow her - Very evil gal and I had given each of the tribunal a 'Right hand' that was mortal she's got a high priest that's her loyal hand

Semi gave Sotha Nall a design (maybe i'll actually give the Sotha family a design in my au 👀) also Memory is featured in here too lolz

Again nothing much changed with his story (besides having it that Memory was 'organically' born through an oc of mine, how did she get pregnant? The world may never know) and he was able to raise Memory for a short time before he became a ceiling decoration (which will be explained more once I draw up Memory)

And finally Mari Vivecs top guard (and one of many lovers)

So her whole thing is that she was an extremely loyal person to Vivec, and after Vivecs death she became 'crazy' with the idea of bringing them back. This led to the birth of the tribunal cult (the one in Skyrim) as In my au she's the leader of it along with Almalexias right hand

If you're wondering why the third wasn't Vivec, i'm just using a wheel to help me pick which characters i'll draw (which will be in groups of three)
