I really appreciate the effort you put into this and also your willingness to explore different requests from what you usually write. It's always so fun to brainstorm (and word vomit haha) with you 🫶

When you sent this piece to me to read, I was on the train, and I swear I had a wide, giddy grin plastered on my face the whole time, people probably thought I was texting with a crush or something. That's the feeling this story gave me—warm, fuzzy, and self-indulgent, just like fresh cotton candy at the fair. I'm still giggling and kicking my feet at the image of cigarette-toting Leon, all greasy and dirty (hur hur) from tinkling with his jeep. Car mechanic + childhood friend Leon just does something to meeeee...!! 😩

And that window scene was just PERFECT, you hear me? Ahhh, it was a great mix of dreamy and sexy. Reader is such a tease 🤭 Also, the fact that neither of them dared to broach the subject the next day is so real. Will these two ever get together? Guess we'll have to wait to find out!

I was so excited when you opened comms again as I knew instantly that I wanted a continuation of this story to see where our two lovely hunters (and your freedom in exploration) would take us!!

It seems like Reader is becoming more seasoned and hardened, that she's almost on par or at least a match for Leon's skill level. But we had some long discussions about it later when you showed it to me (which I enjoyed very much!), and how Reader is now more masterful combat wise, whereas Leon still has the upper hand in terms of lore, intellect, and insight, just because he's been researching into matters far longer than her. It was interesting to see him in a more submissive position here, bending the knee to her authority, enamored somewhat by her. Yet, his adoration seems to have a tinge of darkness, or a manic quality to it—I'm really curious to see more of their interactions and how this goes.

Both of them have partaken in the blood, which can't mean well... Furthermore, it heightens the tension when we know Leon doesn't have lanterns left to awaken at. On the one hand, I feel like this can only end badly, though spectacularly if I may say so, but on the other, I'm still clinging on to some sense of false? hope for the two of them. That said, Reader seems be to secretly fond of his affectioon and feelings for her, despite harboring some mistrust, which is rather cute (along with Leon swearing his fealty to her, hehe) :3

Also, Cainhurst!! One of my favorite places in Bloodborne, so happy to see it brought to life here and Annalise mention 🫶 I love her, the poor soul.

Ahhh 🙈 I’m so happy!!! 💜 I love Bloodborne so much; it’s so lore heavy, but you wouldn’t realize it at first glance.

And yes! We have talked a bit about it already, but Reader is coming into her own as a Hunter. She’s more battle hardened when she next meets Leon (who is delighted she’s gotten so much stronger). She’s learning more and more about the dark secrets of Yharnam so she won’t be behind Leon too much longer. You know my vision behind the fealty moment 🤭 and that’s such a great description; he does have a manic adoration of reader! (Which I don’t think he sees it that way).

In true FromSoft fashion, Leon may end up with a sad ending, but we haven’t reached that finish line just yet! So who knows what could happen 😉

Cainhurst is my favorite!! It’s so different from the rest of Yharnam and yet it fits! I love everything about the place from the architecture down to the enemies (even the nightmare inducing ones 😂). And Annalise! I wish there was more about her in the game!

did not want 2 beg but I am kind of at my limit rn… my parents don’t let me take medication for my chronic illnesses, one is an inflammatory skin condition that I can’t do anything for and only a few things help. it’s given me an infection that I need to clear up bc it’s been on and off for months on end atp. honestly just looking for money so I can literally be relieved of pain it’s so excruciating I can’t do anything.. I do not need a lot 😭 literally shit like epsom salts and tea tree soothes it a little. enough to hold off the pain until I can finally get medication or get it checked out. so.. if u can help out.. please 🤒😓 I also do commissions if anyone wants one of those 😨
