black widows fight is a false alarm. that is not mcr5 material. that is a song by legendary hip hop producer and wu-tang clan member RZA for the score of the man with the iron fists (2012). here is my evidence

IN SUMMARY: The document that the assumed MCR track BLACK WIDOWS FIGHT was mentioned in is a listing of a significant amount of, if not all of, the works of RZA, including soundtracks and scores. It is possible that MCR was involved in BLACK WIDOWS FIGHT, but that was in 2012, so it has a very low likelihood of being connected to a potential 5th MCR album. If anything, it's an alternate name for Hell Hath No Fury.

It looks to me like black widows fight is listed uhhh definitely as a musical work and possibly also a video or in a video work? Here’s the thing though. Very few other entries in that list of titles have an artist’s name tacked onto the end in that manner. and also, a lot of the things in the document look like they’re from soundtracks. Notably: a lot from The Man With the Iron Fists score

Interestingly, Hold Me Tight Or Don’t is also on this list

Anyways this might be a complete false alarm but if it’s not, it’s a 2-part single with a 2-part music video. That’s my bet!

a completely unintended consequence that i don't blame the band for but i think it's funny when an artist with an audience who clearly thinks about fascism and how to depict it without looking like straight up nazi imagery depicts fascist aesthetics in their art and it triggers the audience some of whom are kids who don't know how to do that respectfully start making art in response that is indistinguishable from actual groyper shit

no you should not cosplay anyone in that video at a show or god forbid for a public photoshoot, you will get the shit justifiably kicked out of you. no you should not use images of actual SS officers for your tour poster edits or art about the tour. no you should not use anything that even vaguely invokes the iron cross or the nazi armband because nowhere was that imagery present in the original art to begin with. let's use our noggins.

also, adding to this this morning- when you see people doing fuckshit with the imagery, please approach it and correct it in good faith. that white transgender 14 year old mcr fan artist is not a blood and soil nazi. they are just 14 and have not been taught how to depict what they're going for in good taste.
