writing a compo and what if i made it a little gay. so what

today i was in chinese tuition and in a sample essay about friendship, it said ‘别怕，有我在，天塌下来，都有我在帮你顶着’ which basically means ‘don’t be scared, im here, if the sky falls, i’ll help you carry it’ and it reminds me of ‘as long as im here, you’re invincible’ which SJSKWKWKSSL cuz why am i being hit with emotional feelings about a volleyball manga in the middle of tuition??

(i think the two characters in the essay are gay by the way. i was struggling to keep a straight face while reading it out loud)

quick rant but people should stop invalidating young people who’ve decided their sexuality, genders etc because they’re young.

“oh but they haven’t experienced much yet! they don’t know better! it’s just a phase!” i could go on honestly but shut the fuck up

just because we figure out our genders, sexualities etc at a young age doesn’t mean we don’t deserve to be validated. 13 year olds should be seen, 14 year olds should be seen, hell everyone should be seen and respected. age does not fucking matter when we’re confident in what we are, or when we’re questioning. so just. stop. everyone matters and should be respected.
