Ya’ll Egypt just had the most deadliest militant attack in the country’s modern history. A group of assailants targeted the al-Rawda mosque in the town of Bir al-Abed. The people were doing nothing but worshiping and praying on this Friday morning (11/24/17), until the assailants launched a bomb and started shooting. Over 230 people were killed by the bomb and/or gunfire. No one has claimed responsibility, but this is still a horrifying tragedy. I know it can be hard to keep up with national news in the US, but Egypt deserves as much attention and condolences. 

And CNN and msnbc are focusing on a “possible” subway threat in London. Sigh

exactly…… like nothing happened it was just a panic but of course since it happened in Europe everyone has to report it 🙄🙄🙄🙄

An earthquake killed more than 200 people in Kurdistan, around 5000 are injured. According to Iranian media, several villages were destroyed in the earthquake. The earthquake was felt in the entire region from Kuwait to Northern Kurdistan cities. Local media says the death toll is likely to rise, especially in the eastern part of Kurdistan.

I will update this if there’s going to be a donation for those affected by the earthquake.

Iran’s semi-official Isna news agency raised the death toll to 328.

Sarpol-e Zahab in Kermanshah has only one hospital, which was demolished in this incident. All patients and hospital staff have been buried beneath the rubble.

The health ministry put out a call for emergency blood donations. So far, 360 people were reported to have died. The Iranian government reported that at least 70,000 citizens would need shelter.

Tonight marks the deadliest shooting in US history. In Las Vegas 50+ lives have been lost and 200+ have been injured all by one man. It’s only been 16 months since the last official deadliest shooting in US history.. something needs to change..

please keep mexico in your thoughts, chiapas was hit with a magnitude 8 earthquake (highest ever recorded earthquake was magnitude 9.5 to give you some perspective) and a tsunami warning is in effect. in light of recent events, please take some time to send love to those affected by natural disasters 🙏🏽

Harvey was Category 4 when it hit.

Please pray for Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba, and Florida, and anyone else in the path of the storm.

I am especially worried about Haiti. My family sponsors a 15-yr-old girl there through Compassion International.

Haiti/DR and the other islands in the path of the storm don’t have the infrastructure for both withstanding the hurricane and recovering afterward that Florida does. Please remember Puerto Rico, Haiti, DR, and Cuba when donating to relief efforts.

June 12, 2016 marked the deadliest mass shooting in American history. It was at a gay bar, Pulse, and it was a hate crime. The shooter was an American citizen, targeting the LGBT+ population, who ended the lives of 49 people.

On this, the anniversary, please don’t forget. Don’t forget the 49 people who lost their lives, don’t forget the reason the shooter carried out the crime, and don’t forget that still, today, we aren’t safe.

This is not normal.

there have been 2 car bomb explosions in baghdad, iraq. 24 people have been killed from an explosion outside a popular ice cream parlour and 12 killed from another explosion in a busy district (near al Shahada bridge). please keep these innocent souls in your prayers as they’re often forgotten by western media

there has been a suicide bomb attack in khost, afghanistan and 18 people have died. please make prayers for those who have been killed and their families who are having to deal with such a horrendous event on the first day of ramadhan
