omg this is all literally my checklist for a perfect fic, i got u anon! i made a post quite a while ago reccing some amazing fics that i love, and i think most of them fit the sort of trope you are looking for! also, @jilyarchive has a tag dedicated to this trope too, have fun reading! + here are some more of my faves!
- all right, evans? by cokebottlek (need to do a re read of this, but it was a beautiful fic last time i read ! (warning, it’s an M rating))
- fate works in a funny way by @gxldentrio (LOVE THIS FIC SO MUCH, i think i’ve re-read like way more than ten times)
- the white album by cgner (a fave, but honestly anything by @fetchalgernon is a fave so yah - check out their other fics too! + this is another M rating)
- (+ EDIT) turning tables by scaredofclouds (i enjoyed reading this so much, there’s even a sequel too! read all of this author’s stories, they’re beautiful xx)
i always forget to compile a list of my favourite jily fics as i read them, i seriously should get on that, there are so many amazing ones i’ve read which i’m forgetting the names of! + on the other fic rec post i linked at the start, i’ve mentioned loads of awesome jily authors, so be sure to check them out. i hope this helps you and have loadsa fun reading xx

- the life and times by jewels5 (this jewel of a fic has been a wip for three to four years... BUT YOU NEED TO READ THIS FIRST, LIKE THIS IS A LEGIMITATE PRIORITY)
- commentarius by bcdaily (another wip, but ALSO AMAZING AND IS WAITING TO BE READ BY YOU, written in the style of the princess diaries by meg cabot, if u like that)
