I have just googled, and apparently you can watch it damn near anywhere, which takes care of the "DO I PAY FOR IT OR TORRENT IT" problem.

And what's so commital about it? Too long episodes? What makes liveblogging it different from any other show? It's not like we're signing a contract, geez

young Zel enjoying himself with a cool looking turban what else to want from life I need to rewatch the first season to check what happened to Zel's buddies. did they all manage to get themselves killed or did they just kinda disappear off screen. if it's the latter then it's fanfic fodder

ah so that rare bit of actual deep conflict was a prompt for sudden new info on Zel's backstory I'm guessing it won't be brought up again then btw I prefer this version of Zel's old appearance because it means if he ever finds a way to turn himself back to normal he'll still be mostly the cutest cutie to ever cute

now see, this is the shit I wish they explored more in the anime rather than glossing over it okay, Amelia knows the whole story and is fully on board with Zel's relationship with Rezo despite not being there but there is this wonderful conflict source of Pokota refusing to believe Rezo is not a good person, and I have to hunt for screenshots okay, maybe I just don't remember everything and there will be more on this in this episode and the next one and it's just kinda hard to be optimistic with this series does anybody know a fanfic that deals with Rezo's reputation and how it contradicts what Lina and Co know about him?

hahaha, Lina's gang thinks she's just greedy and not actually competent come the fuck on there's a point at which this joke stops being funny I wrote before on how much Amelia trusts and respects Lina despite their differences it's just not a good joke to make that she ~still doesn't~

the ending song is better than this entire episode and probably this whole season combined I'm going to continue to draw inspiration for my interpretation of Lina from the opening and ending songs and ignore like 90% of what happens in the show proper because, I mean... seriously (how do I ignore 90% of stuff and still claim my interpretaion to be valid? simple, the 90% that I am willing to throwaway is generic stuff that is not specific to Lina's character but to the genre) (while the 10% that I cherish are unique or at least feel unique enough to me to claim THEY are Lina's character and the rest is accidental)

okay now this is a good face showing conflicted emotions this looks like Ozel knows that Rezo wants to kill himself and doesn't want it but is ultimately on his side no matter what? dear animators, why can't you do good job CONSISTENTLY??? I think I have made the "monkey with typewriter" comparison before

this whole scene with the town thanking Rezo... I guess its purpose was for reminding us that Rezo is known as a great sage helping people? And that he readily does exactly that as long as it doesn't get in the way of his plans? But it's kind of out of place right now, considering this is not exactly Rezo's "downtime", this is him fucking with Lina's gang's heads I guess it's significant to his character that he chose to fuck with their heads in this exact way? to his character or to his current plans? what this looks like is that it would be some sort of Aesop, like "don't dismiss as useless stuff you don't need right now" but it's absolutely out of place here, considering Lina had A SPECIFIC GOAL!!!!!!!!!! a child alone getting cured was cute and heartwarming and did exactly that - remind that Rezo is not all evil villain actually but the crowd scene seems like it should mean something more but I don't understand what???? this is just not good writing, again. there should be a point to all events onscreen!!!!!

okay Rezo healing a blind kid IS actually cute Rezo is a great character, have I said this yet? I think I have. Scenes that are not trying to be funny are great. Scenes that are... SLAYERS NO

oh my god he's daft Lina doesn't even need to be a powerful mage to beat /this/ trick I I sure hope this is a trick to make us believe he is not to be taken seriously and then there'll be a reveal that he is actually strong but Evo-R sucks so I'm not counting on that
