Dear Yuushi your problem is not that you are not an adult your problem is that he's a misogynistic asshole who doesn't respect you regardless of age having saved you from a dog once as a child does not give him a get-out-of-assholery card that means you should forgive him for this in fact, not even having saved you from a demon more recently gives him this card because you saved him too, what with letting him in and giving him refuge and lying to soldiers on his behalf and leading him to the dragon and then letting him hide in the library he owes you more than you owe him like WAY more and now would be a good time to hand him over to authorities btw I should have realized something was wrong with this narrative as soon as I learned the whole story of why Yuushi is so obsessed with him apparently it's because he saved her from a dog as a little kid, then walked with her in the woods until they found a flower she was looking for, then disappeared leaving her alone there without so much as good bye all the while dismissing her own attempts to thank him and help him that's what she's so grateful for that's why she likes him ಠ_ಠ that's kind of a low bar isn't it as it always is with anime girls falling in love with guys and feeling ~eternal gratitude~ to them and all that stuff he's awesome just for that one thing many years ago she has to continuously prove herself to him just to get him to remember her name why why why why okay I'll stop pretending I don't know why now I do ಠ_ಠ frankly, the only magical girl anime I remember explicitly not falling into any of those traps without being ~serious and deconstructive~ is Nanoha Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha that anime is perfect forever
