I finally opened my shop!
Have a look... I need to practise taking photos but I think it looks passable. :) The best thing about storeenvy at the moment is that you don't need an account to purchase. Also it's not etsy.
I used a slightly thinner chirimen fabric, 'hitokoshi'-- it has smaller wrinkles. I had a hunch that it was the same fabric used by the shop I purchased some hairpins from when I visited Kyoto, and I think I was right!
