There's this awful subreddit called r/BoomersBeingFools which is essentially a circlejerk between millennials engaging in an insane echo chamber group to bitch about their parents with no sense of self awareness of how not normal it is to regularly visit a subreddit to bitch about an arbitrary generation of people, who have admittedly fucked things up, but the subreddit basically serves moreso as everyone's personal revenge fantasy towards their ebil parents. Anyways, after the election results, someone posted statistics showing a lot of zoomers had voted for Trump, again, a legitimate talking point as to how younger men especially are becoming heavily radicalized into (insert variation of Nazism here) can and has been made. But this post prompted the OP to start a new sub, entitled r/FuckYouZoomer, which is full of even more ridiculous circlejerking about how much faith they had in Gen Z but then lost, at their absolute nicest, and at worst jerking off to our suicide statistics.
I think the whole weird obsession w/ generations is so fucking stupid, like as an older Gen Z I have way more in common w/ a younger Millennial than a younger Gen Z, and even find myself feeling out of touch with friends who are only a few years younger than me, but all of that being said: holy fucking shit these people are morons. You became the evil old people who bitch about the new generation who is stupid and dumb because they are dumb little kids. What's worse, you fail to take any remote kind of responsibility for your generation being the one who pioneered shit like the image boards people get radicalized on, or the youtubers people get radicalized on, or the podcasters people get radicalized on, all the while you circle jerk about how great the internet was before those damn zoomers like your average 90s chatrooms weren't places to spread heinous shit in and like you didn't pass down the traditions of things like desensitizing gore shock content onto us.
As revenge I will make sure that Gen Z will cancel Eminem.
