omg i just realized i never posted this on tumblr, but i came up with a design for borika’s lightsabers

the hilts are longer than on your typical jedi saber and the blades are shorter, since instead of using them like you might a normal lightsaber, she uses them like you would sticks for stick fighting

as usual i’m too sad to form a coherent dissertation about this. but i was thinking last night about the parallels between LE memories xi (thrass tells thrawn his secret so thrawn tells him about his sister) and CR chapter 13 (thalias tells thrawn her secret so thrawn tells her about his sister)

god it. hurts so bad. absolutely 0 closure for thrawn & che'ri?? i have a firm headcanon that he told her at some point between the trial and his actual departure but 🙃 dear god there's only so much we can take lol

i really loved the moment with samakro protecting che'ri and thalias from the magys though, that was such a king moment 🥺 i was so happy we finally got the start of a samakro & thalias friendship arc!!!
