Hello Hello mutuals, followers, and fellow fans of Star vs the Forces of Evil!
There isn’t much to add other than what I’ve already put in the pictures.
As a Writing Major, this path feels right for me to hone my skills and improve as a creative. Although it’s not the creative direction I’ve had for my AU all these years, it feels right for me and who I am now. I hope you all aren’t too disappointed, upset, let down, or betrayed by this decision. I was just as excited as you to see this project be successful in its intended medium, but life and shit happens.
Is there an intended release date? Not as of yet. First drafts will be done as able until first quarter ends and more consistently throughout winter break. I hope to get the first chapters out by next year, considering I’ll be going through the entire writing process (multiple drafts with editors/proofreaders and beta readers) and creating art pieces for each chapter. But trust me. This will be faster
What will happen to the comic? The comic will be kept up on my Tumblr blog (although the timeline will be rearranged) but I will be archiving them from Instagram once chapters start being released.

Well, it’s that time of year again. It’s officially time for my yearly Battle For Mewni anniversary drawing. Which means it’s been seven years since Toffee’s death, and I’m still sad about it to this day. I will never be over it.
This year, I’ve captured the moment that Star decided to keep his eye as a trophy, against her mother’s wishes, signifying her triumph over his “evil” (as she puts it). Little does she know that the eye will fall in the hands of her dear friend, Ovelia Dragonfly, leading to the triumphant return of the man she thought was gone forever. (And he’s back!!!!)

Happy Mother’s Day to Ovelia and Elodie’s beloved, musically gifted late mother, Bianca Adele Dragonfly! Ovelia is 15 and Elodie is 12 here.
I actually created this piece last year for Mother’s Day, and I posted it on my Instagram, but I never posted it here. And it’d be weird if I posted this any other day. So… here it is! A year late lol.
Bianca has an incredibly important meaning to both of her daughters, as their only parent, and even if she’s gone, she still lives on in both of their hearts.

can you discuss the relationship between Toffee and Seth
Absolutely!! I’d be happy to!!
Normally, I see Toffee and Seth being depicted with a relatively positive relationship. However, I don’t and have never really seen it that way.
The full story is under the cut, but the TL;DR is this: Toffee does not like Seth hardly at all. Seth sees Toffee as his own son and loves him to death, but Toffee cannot stand being “fathered” by him. As far as Toffee knows, he never had a father and Seth was DEFINITELY not his father, and gets so upset when Seth refers to him as “son”.
Despite Toffee not being able to stand him, he can and does acknowledge his great diplomacy skills and that he is the best leader for Septarsis. His beef is a lot more personal. He will admit with no hesitation that Seth would have made a great ruler for Monsterkind and is personally angered and offended just like everyone else about Crescenta’s smear campaign.
Toffee also unknowingly bought into a lot of his ideals over the course of his life, he just adjusted his angle and took different actions into trying to solve the same problem.
It’s a mix of frustration yet begrudging respect for him as the man who took him in after his mother’s death on Toffee’s end. On Seth’s end, it’s praise, adoration, and a very fatherly view he has on Toffee, despite how pissed he gets at a lot of Toffee’s actions over the course of his life (i.e., Comet and his whole embarrassing “Bad Boy” phase).

This entire drawing trend perfectly encompasses these two dorks so I had to join in. Instead of drawing my OTP, however, I drew my BROTP >:)
I would draw Toffipsa/p more than I do but I haven’t due to AU plot reasons lol. (But these angst ridden ex childhood besties will 110% meet again incredibly soon)
Seriously though take away all context from the show which one looks like they’d eventually become the slippery, manipulative, calculating, backstabbing bad guy. PROBABLY NOT THE ONE CRYING AND SCARED OUT OF HIS MIND BUT DO I HAVE NEWS FOR YOU—
Anyways I will defend these two as individuals and as best friends until I die
