Yes. I know this is more of a sofa, but like, this is the 'modified to be more comfortable so you don't get a sore back from lying on it' version. With a book table attachment for extra comfort and ease of use-

And yes, this is if they lived in well.. Nowadays. A version of nowadays which allows for them to have interestingly coloured natural hair.

This is mainly because...

I wanted to draw Ferdinand with blue hair, in a button up shirt.

KDrama-esque CEO style. Who knows... Maybe he's the CEO of Ehrenfest Industries! Or not exactly the CEO (which could be Sylvester) but the competent younger brother who ends up doing seventy percent of the work despite not actually being in charge.

This lineart is a good deal more polished than my usual stuff,

which is partly why the anatomy might look a little off because after I'd put the effort in I couldn't be bothered trying to fix it-

But eh.

I like the colours.

Rooting through my old drafts and I found this,

I wanted to do some rough colouring and it was just a cozy picture-

For colouring purposes, it's fine.

Pretty sure I must have been rather tired doing the draft for this..

Since I mainly draw this sort of thing when I'm tired.

At one point in time, I remember being horrified that Purple could go with Yellow- I think I was around eleven,

(I didn't know what complementary colours were)

And I thought it was the worst combination ever-

But the years passed,

I saw actual examples of it not from my imagination,

And now it's definitely one of my favourite colour combos!

I did a full on sketch of this with Ferdinand sitting up then re-read it and realised he was lying down. Eh. If you think the position looks a little familiar~

Then you would be spot on since I based it on Myne just coming out of the Jureve for the first time- ehehehe

Gonna get back to the art challenge when I regain access to said laptop-

But for now, we have some sketches that are entirely from imagination.

It feels weird to draw without any reference, but this turned out a lot better than I anticipated.

If you do know any Japanese please excuse my poor handwriting- I was unable to look up (read 'couldn't be bothered') whatever 'no longer human' is in Japanese so I wrote ningen no shikakku in hiragana. にんげんのしかっく、I probably spelt it wrong. Eh.

As for the other stuff, I've been memorising 'for the tainted sorrow' 汚れちまった悲しみに、 in Japanese, (or 'the sadness that became dirty' if you're google translate) and couldn't remember the kanji for 'snow' 雪 and 'falls' 降ります.

Writing that is also why I drew chuuya. Since writing out 'for the tainted sorrow' next to dazai just felt wrong. えへへへ~. (ehehehe)

This is a reimagined older version of Rozemyne in her whirling gear, from... Well. I'm pretty sure it's kind of obvious which picture I used for costume (and background) reference.

(The costume and picture are from part 5 vol 1, I just wanted to draw her in this outfit, but older.)

I've had this in the back of my head for a while...

Ever since I watched the anime really, since my first thought was 'the same! but different!' and then it kind of expanded from there. Kind of how Midoriya and Tanjiro are also similar (though I don't know if Midoriya would agree with the whole 'killing demons' thing, and Tanjiro would probably think Midoriya was a little soft, or maybe just lucky to live with villains you don't actually HAVE to kill. Who knows. They might get along like a house on fire. After all, I didn't create the characters, so this is pure speculation). It's probably just a side effect of being an anime protagonist.

On a slightly unrelated note, one of the side effects of your job being garden related is having only the comfort of your own thoughts for extended periods of time, (weeding. Yup. Lots of weeding. And since it's spring where I live, the plants are growing, weeds included) so that's where I get a lot of my ideas, (boredom is the 'whatsitsthingy' of inspiration or whatever) this has been on my mind for a while, but I didn't have the time to do anything about it until recently, since-

I have been. Very busy. *sighs-

Alas alack. Being responsible is hard.

(I'm studying to sit the jlpt N5 in December, which yeah, I know it's the most basic level, but still, I don't like grammar and it being in another language does not help)

For whatever reason, I just haven't had a lot of time to draw. I mean, this is the first time in like three days that I've been able to sit down at my laptop and draw my little comic strips. Which considering I normally (most of the time) draw every day of the week, is a bit out of the ordinary.

Also, you guys are the only ones getting this because I doubt any of my Instagram followers care about Bungou Stray Dogs,

*wipes away invisible tear-

and I don't want my grandparents asking me what my comic strips are about when they so blatantly reference fanfiction-
