Zoids HMM Shadow Fox Custom - Rose Fox Gigi
Today an unusual grey covers the desert sky. Rain is on the way, the only question is how much?
Doodle/sketch dump
Burton, Lollygag, and some of my Zoids OCs (3 organoids and 3 humans).
Colored versions of my Zoids OCs Katrina and Ellsabell
Katrina is on the left, with Ellsabell on the right. Kat was actually colored a while ago, but I wanted to wait until I had them both done to post them. I also finally found my blending pencil after losing it for a couple months, which is why Ellsabell looks a little different. Anyways, Ellsabell’s clothing colors might change. I like the colors she has now, but I’m not completely sold on them either. I feel like I am using too much purple, as her main Shadow Fox is also purple XD But I don’t have any other ideas at the moment, so these are the colors I’ve settled on for the time being. This also give a rough idea on their heights in comparison to each other.
More about the two:
A bit about the Zoid: Its piloted by Katrina, who used to be a part of the Sniper Sisters, a mercenary gang whose signature is their weapons and their flashy paint jobs. Her Zoids flashy paint scheme isn’t a problem to her sniping ability though with the use of optic camo. But even that’s unnecessary with her skill that made her second best in the group, second only to their leader. Katrina is quick and precise with most guns she uses. She uses her missiles to throw an enemy off guard and put some distance between, make a quick escape, or to create a smoke screen with some special rounds. Hates close combat, guns that are too large, and wasting ammo.
Honestly, I just really really wanted to paint a sniper with a super flashy paint scheme.
Finally finished painting this Zoid I started like 6 months ago. Its not the best paint job, its rather messy and half assed, but I just wanted to finish it. I was originally really excited to work on this Zoid, which would be the one that belongs to Ellsabell’s traveling companion, Kat.. However, things just did not go my way with this one. I haven’t had this much trouble with painting a model since my first repaint, which was a disaster. It was just problem after problem, a couple of them being the orange paint I got was actually super translucent when I thought it was just metallic flake (stupid me, not reading enough) so it took like 3 coats to get it that color, making the paint too thick Then, it had a little accident involving the floor, some very riled up playing dogs, and many broken or lost pieces later (n fact the one arm needs to be glued again). But its done, and this little eye sore can take her place on my shelf finally XD
Tried to work on a more Zoids anime styled version of Mia for the hell of it and because I’m bored and lonely
She actually looked a lot better in the doodles I made in my sketchbook-this one wound up looking a bit too… mine??? lmao
Ellsabelle sketch! Featuring my favorite pose/base I’ve drawn. (expect to see it a lot. I’m lazy)
This is the girl who pilots the 3 Shadow Foxes with the help of her Organoid she so creatively named Kitsune. She travels around with Kat as they look for her older sister. She loved bows and anything frilly and graceful, and has won numerous awards for her show Zoid piloting skill, which she demonstrates in battle. Foes will regret underestimating her. She may look cute and sweet, but her precision and grace can take down the scariest of Zoids.
“A proper Zoid pilot has skill, grace, and most importantly, style!”
It’s FINALLY done! These are my OC Ellsabell’s 3 Shadow Foxes. They still need names though. Ellsabell, a young Zoid pilot with a love for show Zoids, pilots 3 Shadow Foxes at once with the help of her Organoid Kitsune. She is in search of her sister, who vanished while researching ancient ruins.
I’m really happy with how this came out! I know there are a lot of mistakes, like the fox in the back being bigger when it should be smaller. And sure, I got a bit lazy and covered most of it with smoke. But honestly, I’m thrilled I even finished it. It got left for a while, and I just recently returned to it. Also three Zoids in one picture, not in a static pose...!? That’s amazing for me, honestly. Going to try and line and color this some time, probably around winter break.
Some obscenely messy Zoidian OC sketchbook nonsense.
Cale disappears for some time when he’s an older teen and gets in with a cult of god-killers (the “gods” in question being ancient, untameable wild Zoids that slumber in/protect various different areas) because he is incredibly young and impressionable, and from first glance the group’s purposes seem pure enough; 1.kill off the gods to keep people from relying on them for protection/to keep them from potentially turning on their people and destroying them, 2. teach people, through some gentle persuasion if necessary, to look after themselves, 3. ????, 4. UTOPIA.
He loses an arm in an altercation between himself, the leader of said group, his aunt Lirain and a particularly aggressive organoid. As a pilot, losing the arm is particularly difficult to deal with, although with some alterations to the Blizzard Lynx he’s able to get back into it, he’d never pilot as well as he did before though (and being fairly young and inexperienced he’d only been just the right side of decent). Once he gets back home Nuri insists on carrying him around the place whenever he gets the chance, staying up super super late to make sure Cale’s okay and doesn’t run off again, and feeling pretty awful and responsible for the whole thing, MUCH to Cale’s distress and embarrassment.
…Sorry for the babbling, getting this story drawn down properly is pretty low-priority for me since these are fan-characters and I’m not really sure what I’d be able to do with it all if I did make a comic etc. out of this. So you get silly sketches and incomprehensible text-walls instead. Apologies again.
Eve and pilot Milo face off against the abomination of a Zoid named Contamination.
(Her name was inspired by the song Bacterial Contamination, while her story was inspired by Biohazard)
Have I posted my baby here? I don’t think I have.
This is the Pylobex; it’s an electricity/energy based sniper Zoid. In this color scheme it’s mainly used in night battles.
This is pretty much my dream Zoid; if I ever have the ability to make a complete from scrap custom it’ll be this guy.
I’ll post more information on him later if anyone is interested.
Rebloggin for the day folk
