Anime Expo is still quite a few months away, but I'm already planning what I'll be wearing! There's going to be another Uma Musume gathering this year on Friday (1:00 at site 3!), so I'll definitely be going to that! From the Uma Musume gathering! We were the only 2 Uma Musume cosplayers that day XD Seriously though thanks to him for dressing up as Trainer for like 10 minutes for the gathering, it was great lol. I saw a couple Uma cosplayers last year, but this year there were almost none and it made me a little sad. It's such a fun and good anime, yet it just slipped through the cracks into obscurity as everyone moved on and forgot about it. I loved that there were still a few that came out to the gathering to chat about the show, it was nice. The cosplays I wore to Anime Expo! Crystal Snow Miku, Morag, Special Week, and Violet Evergarden! I overall had a good time at AX but there were some big ups and downs this year. The line fiasco day 1 was the worst of it, but there were other small things that irked me, like the professional photographers getting priority in front of people who had been waiting a while to use the sets. But I've heard others had much worse experiences with staff, so it seems we got off fairly easily. Anyways, I really enjoyed wearing Morag again for the Xeno gathering, just wish I wasn't so exhausted for it, I was a little out of it. Special Week was great, even if I was the only Uma Musume there that day. WIP of Special Week from Uma Musume for this WIP Wednesday! Very excited to finish and wear this cosplay for Anime Expo, I'm really hoping there will be some other Uma Musume cosplayers there! I've still got quite a bit to finish on this cosplay: the jacket, the big purple buttbow, the tail, ears and wig, socks, and lots of small details. Skirt is more or less done, I may tweak it a bit to try and get the pleats to stay nicer as the pink ruffles messed with it. Vest needs some seams finished, snaps sewn on and details, while the boots also need the decorative details to finish. The biggest and hardest piece right now is the jacket, which has been a source of frustration.
