Amy- Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (sketch)

Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet is one of my favorite animes, but is sadly relatively unknown. Its fun, nicely animated and has a really cool and interesting premise, even though its rather short. I highly recommend giving it a watch cause this anime really deserves more love!

I feel the Ether flowing through me!

Watercolor of Melia Antiqua, my favorite character from Xenoblade Chronicles! She had maxed out affinity with everyone as she was always my main, and the one I defeated the final boss with too!

KAITO Sketch for his 10th anniversary!

I finally finished the sketch! Pretty messy, and for some reason some parts show up darker than they really are when they were scanned, but I’m so happy with it! The only thing I really dislike about it is the head. After fooling with it a bit I just kinda gave up and focused on everything else. But I’m glad I finally found a use for this pose. It was really enjoyable to draw! Its based off of nothing in particular, but I love angels and things with wings, so why not? (Also its rather late, but there is still an hour before the 18th here, so I can still say I posted this for his anniversary, lol )

Anyways, I’ll probably try my hand at inking this traditionally, and if I feel up to it digitally as I would love to color it. Not too many sketches become anything more, but I’m really proud of this one, definitely the best human I have ever drawn.

I’ve been wanting to find a use for this pose, and now I have! Wanted to do this for KAITO’s birthday, but didn’t get it done for the 14th, and not sure I can even finish the sketch for the 17th. But I’m really happy with how it is turning out. It is way different than anything I’ve ever done before. Not sure how I want to draw the wings yet, and I don’t have the slightest clue on how to go about the head though. But I’m really excited to continue on it, so hopefully it will turn out well!

My Zoids OC Katrina (Kat)! She pilots a Gun Sniper with a flashy paintjob and optic camo, and used to be part of a gang called the Sniper Sisters. Now she adventures around with Ellsabell and the Organoid Kitsune (who isn’t her biggest fan), trying to avoid running into her old gang and the law.

Been working on this while I wait for some Blade Liger parts I glued to dry. It uses one of the bases I drew a bit ago. Honestly, I am pretty proud of this. Humans are not my thing, and I normally avoid drawing them if I can. But for me, this is pretty good, despite the numerous errors. Hey, at least it looks human, haha! Might try to lineart this digitally and color it so I can work out a color pallet. But it’s been forever since I’ve drawn digitally so pretty much back to square one. I’ll also be working on more bases and probably from that more characters too.

“A proper Zoid pilot has skill, grace, and most importantly, style!”

It’s FINALLY done! These are my OC Ellsabell’s 3 Shadow Foxes. They still need names though. Ellsabell, a young Zoid pilot with a love for show Zoids, pilots 3 Shadow Foxes at once with the help of her Organoid Kitsune. She is in search of her sister, who vanished while researching ancient ruins.

I’m really happy with how this came out! I know there are a lot of mistakes, like the fox in the back being bigger when it should be smaller. And sure, I got a bit lazy and covered most of it with smoke. But honestly, I’m thrilled I even finished it. It got left for a while, and I just recently returned to it.  Also three Zoids in one picture, not in a static pose...!? That’s amazing for me, honestly. Going to try and line and color this some time, probably around winter break.

A very, very rough sketch of a design I would like to turn into a stencil for screen printing. Ideally, when I finish with it, the design would be in three different colors,  blue, orange and green. However, we have yet to get to the multicolor stuff, so I'll either save it for another day, or print it in one.

I had a few different ideas on how I would actually make it a stencil. The original idea I had in my mind was just the armor, but it kinda didn't work out that way in the sketch, so it might just be lineart, or I might try to play around with it. (also text is there just to give me a rough idea of where it could be placed)

I'm actually rather happy with the three (two more so) Zoid sketches. They were referenced, horribly innacurate, and I just now realized that Jager and Panzer might as well have just been mirrored images of each other. In my head, I imagined a front facing Schneider, but I quickly realized that i was unable to draw it, so we get the crappy sketch of schneider bending in ways I don't think the Zoid actually can. Maybe I'll try and sketch a front facing Schneider on a separate paper and paste it in, if I ever feel up to trying again.

Totally forgot to post this here. Anyways:

Eve [link], vs a Blade Liger. Haven't decided on a color scheme for the Blade Liger yet. But, this was a lot of fun to draw, as well as challenging. Good thing I have both HMM models to reference. Though, the Blade Liger is ridiculous to pose. Proud of this nonetheless, even though I can see so many mistakes I couldn't figure out how to fix.

Sketch is also on my Deviant Art[dA Link]

"It appears to be a stone statue of a dragon of some sort. But on closer inspection, you notice that it is clearly a Zoid. How long has this Zoid been sitting there? You have no answer to this question, but you guess a very long time. It guards the weather beaten ruins of a temple, that at one time probably looked very nice."

I based this Zoid off of some stone dragon images I was looking at. I loved the style, and wanted to try and capture that in a Zoid. I actually made this into a water color for my dad (though i don't think I have any scans of it) That was the intention behind this sketch. Please ignore the background. Its just awful, and was redone and made to look a bit better int he finished watercolor. Anyways, this probably took me around 4 hours total to sketch.
