WIP Wednesday - 2B embroidery This could turn out to be a complete disaster as I know very little about embroidery, but it's been fun! I wanted to try my hand at embroidering the design of 2B's dress, just to see if I like it. It's nice to have a long term project like this to do just because. Something you can spend a little bit of time on each day and not need for a specific date. I've done a lot more work on this since quarantine started haha. I want to wear 2B again, it's a fun cosplay to wear! Especially taking spinning pictures haha. I need to wear it more with the blindfold though, the past few times I haven't bothered cause it's such a pain lol. Formal dress 2B [Nier Automata] I'm actually selling this cosplay if anyone is interested! I need to make room for future cosplays, and as I have no plans to wear it again I figured it'd be best to sell it. Bodice is boned and lined, designs on skirt are handpainted. My formal 2B from LBCC 2018. I really loved this dress, it was a more comfortable and unique version of 2B than my normal cosplay, and was actually completed first (And in just a few days at that lol) Unfortunately it no long fits comfortably so I had to retire it. Had a great time at Wondercon this weekend!! Loved wearing 2B with Virtuous Treaty again for the last day. No Pod though, I was too tired after wearing Morag to carry two props. Anyways, a quick recap: I loved doing photoshoots with friends! We discovered the magic of the upstairs areas, where I had somehow never been before lol. Lots of fun and cool stuff to see in the exhibit hall, I swear it got bigger everyday we went in. Also played a new card game about demons, it was pretty cool. And of course, saw so many great cosplays! I'm sad it's over, but I'm still exhausted and sore so it's probably for the best that it is haha. The day is almost over but it's still March 7th, which means it's the 2nd anniversary of Nier Automata! Nier Automata is one of my favorite games, it means a lot to me. I love the characters, the music, the scenery, and especially the story! The gameplay was also super fun. Much as I like Nier Gestalt, it was so nice that the gameplay was smooth and that other routes had you play as other characters! Anyways, 2B is one of my favorite current cosplays to wear, it's gonna be sad to remove it from the con rotation (but I gotta make room for new cosplays >.< ). But, I really enjoyed wearing it and having Pod 042, I love being able to cosplay my favorite characters!
