HMM Shadow Fox- Ellsabell Custom: Gigi

I had been waiting to put the decals on this to upload pictures, and I finally got around to that today. So here she is, the completed Shadow Fox, one of Ellsabell’s 3! This fox would be her main one, the one she actually pilots. I’m thinking this one’s name will be Gigi. The other two then will be Cici and Mimi, for which I’m thinking one white and one pink. Did think about making one blue, but I have so many blue Zoids. Would be cool to make one green though, but I also want all 3 colors to go together.

Anyways, this was a fun build. I like the HMM Shadow Fox a lot. Very sturdy, poses pretty well, and things don’t fall apart. Fairly easy build too, though I had a few problems with fitting the leg armor together because of the paint. I thought I had guessed correctly where I should paint and not paint, but nope. Though I know now if I ever want to get and paint 2 more. But first I want to go back and finish up the panel lining I started on her. I completed the face, but then kinda got over it/ got distracted. I’ve got so much to do, and so little time it feels. I still have 2 models that have been sitting around for months, but also cosplay and other art to work on too ; _ ;

The Command Wolf Irvine in the deserts of Zi

I wanted to post this one separately. I think it is my favorite photo I’ve taken of this model, possibly any model. I just really love how it came out, more than any of the others I took this time round.

Command Wolf Irvine

More photos from Joshua Tree! This time of my favorite HMM, the Command Wolf Irvine. Favorite Zoid, favorite pilot!

[Apparently I never posted these. I could have sworn I did, but nope. Went through my posts looking for the photos I had picked out as the best so I could post them to my facebook page, and was surprised to find only the ones of Fury]

HMM Berserk Fury in The Desert!

I always enjoy taking some Zoids with me when we go camping. This time I took Fury and Irvine’s Command wolf. Originally I wanted to finish Van’s Blade Liger, but to this day I’m still not done with it, so I opted for Fury instead. Plus transporting a Blade Liger? Ugh. Maybe next time. Fury and the Command Wolf IS were way too much fun to take pictures of, so expect a lot of them! I’ll probably post even more to my dA account Liger-Zero-Schneider  (but it’ll take me a while)

Chibi the Liger Zero at the beach!

We took the dogs to the dog beach, so I figured I’d take Chibi as well. It’s been a while since I've taken any pictures of chibi. It's pretty obvious to see in these pictures, but he's seen better days. The plastic is yellowing and the paint has been scratched off some armor from when he got dropped on concrete (the poor baby). One of his whiskers also broke, and now has wire holding it in place. Sometime I'll go and give him a nice coat of paint to take care of that.

Custom HMM Blade Liger - Contamination

She is the opposite of the Liger Zero Eve, a monstrous abomination of a Zoid. This Blade Liger has had many pilots, showing up out of nowhere to seek the miserable and angry. But most can only handle her for so long before they are consumed by her toxic mix of negative emotions. They call her the possessed Zoid as it is rumored that her original pilot who died within her cockpit still haunts this Zoid, her soul having fused with the core. Those who have survived encounters with her call her Contamination as she infects Zoids with almost a zombifying like effect, the ones whose cores she doesn't devour that is. The bounty on her is high, but who would be fool enough to try and take it?

The custom itself is my old Blade Liger HMM, my first ever HMM in fact. Which is why she is missing quite a few parts. But hey, I say it just adds to her zombie like look. I have aways wanted to do this repaint, but I've been conflicted on whether or not to use this HMM or not. I considered a new one, but since the design hasn’t been improved it wasn't worth it. But it also gave me a chance to glue some more parts down, so hopefully she won't constantly be falling apart. All the colors had to be mixed which was a bit of a pain. But I'm super happy with how she came out! Design is from [x]

Pictures of three of my Zoids models, King Liger, Fire Phoenix, and my custom HMM Liger Zero, Eve. Taken at Joshua Tree National park. No better place to take pictures of Zoids than a desert!

My Custom HMM Liger Zero Eve, sporting her brand new wings. They are actually her second set of wings, the original can be seen here: [link]

These photos are the full sized ones used in a compilation up on my Deviant Art: [link]. I really like how the one at the very top looks. I'm so happy with how they came out, I just had to put up the bigger versions somewhere.

The wings are simply made from wire, fabric, and hot glue, put on the armor piece that was originally for the boosters, as well as a random armor piece put on top to make it look nicer.  They can bend, but I'm a bit hesitant to bend them too much as the fabric appears to stress worryingly.

Eve herself is painted with Testors Enamel model paints and Tamiya Color acrylic paint. While I love the way she looks, I don't know if I ever want to paint another HMM model again XD

Also posted on my secondary Deviant Art account, Liger-Zero-Schneider [link] Just thought I'd share them here too.

Here are the best pictures from my trip to the desert last month, featuring Solar Flare my HMM Liger Zero Panzer. These were taken at Joshua Tree National Park (in the Indian Cove campsites). The desert scenery is just so amazing and perfect for Zoids photos. I decided that I would take the HMM Panzer this year, after thinking about it for a while. I thought about taking Schneider, but I was worried it would fall apart too easily on the three hour drive down there.  It is a real pain taking a HMM (or actually any Zoid) down there, but it is worth it. Maybe next year if we go I'll take Fury, or Jager.  Anyways, most of these were taken around the campsite, but I did go climbing a bit. Even with her nicely packed in a shoebox and in a backpack, it was definitely a challenge. No parts were lost or broken, so this was a very successful trip.
